I got my period back!!!
Okay I know you all probably want to know HOW but... to tell you the truth I don't know exactly. (I hadn't had it for 2 years)
I mean I guess I might have been eating a little more than usual the last couple weeks but it doesn't seem like a couple weeks would just do the trick? I mean either way I am ok with it! :) it was just kind of random..
So, on saturday I was having a really bad stomache ache and cramps (although when I had my period in the first place I never had cramps so I wasn't really sure how they felt) but anyways I wasn't sure what was wrong with me..
and then I started feeling REALLY bloated..
and a little (maybe a little more then a little..lol) moody..
and then on wednesday I got my period!!!??
it was fairly light and I think this cycle is over now but I still fell really bloated and gross. Since I don't really remember how it was having a period does somebody wanna help? When does the bloating go away? And will the munchies go away? because I have been eating more than necessary!
Ahhhh... I'm super happy I got it back but now I remember why people complain!! lol
Congrats on getting your period back. I know there are some not so fun things that come along with it but really the positives outweight the negatives ti getting it. Everyone is different in how they feel with it so it is hard to say and also each time you can feel a different way.
You can have mine, I've been in pain the last 3 days and miserable the last week.
hey congradulations! i'm so proud of you. ive been working so hard to get mine back but nothing seems to be working. did you work out during this time or eat anything specific? any advice would be great! GOOD JOB!
congrats! I'm still waiting for mine.
So happy for you!
Well done! =) I know exactly how you feel..once you get it again, you're thinking OHHH..now I remember what they were all complaining about! =P
I believe the munchies and bloating do go away after a few days, it's a part of your cycle and what's happening down there, ha. You're healthier now and that's all that matters!
Thanks everybody! :)
brookebar- the weird thing is that I have been working out, like it's track season right now and I was also doing lifeguard training this past week when I finally got it back. So, idk exactly how that worked out?
I think that mostly I just stopped counting calories for a while and ate some higher fat foods without worrying about it too much..
good luck to anyone still trying to get theirs back :)
congratss!! that must be exciting :/ I thought I had it back but it was a light spotting T_T. I think it was a sign of my body getting better though! :D I'm trying to eat more dietary fat to help with the period as well. Today I had a sandwich with avocados in it... yum. :) healthy fat! I think tomorrow I'll eat some peanut butter sandwich which should help with it as well.
I just sigh when I look at my left over pads and tampons...
Hey, that's great! Whatever you've been doing keep it up and don't be surprised if it's irregular for a while (mine skipped every other month for quite a while).
