Not Having Period!!!!!! Please Help!!!!!!

Quote  |  Reply

my very first and second periods were regular. the third one was a few weeks late. the fourth nearly two months. now it got to the point where i only have about 2 periods a year. what is wrong? do i have a disease or something? i mean, i'm healthy, i'm the average weight, i don't do drugs or any strenuous activities. is there something wrong with my body? will this affect my chances of having children in the future?

Don't worry!!! Chill, it's ok. The same thing happened to me after I got my period. I'm 18 now and I've had my period since I was in seventh grade, and it is STILL not regular. It still doesn't come every month. Every doctor that I have asked about this says that it is completely normal and as long as you are not getting your period TOO often then everything is a-ok.

If you are really worried about it, see your doctor. But I'm sure it's not a big deal.

Please refer to my response under the question about chewing and spitting ..... it may help.  There are physiological conditions that can cause irregular cycles and easy weight gain as well, more specifically, PCOS.  If you research PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) on the internet, it will give you a list of symptoms.  If you have one or more of the symptoms, I would suggest talking about it with your doctor.

Take care.

The first time I got my period (I was 11 yrs old), I thought it would be normal from there on out, but I didn't get it again for 2 years!! I really thought that I was abnormal, but really, when you first get it, it is NOT regular, so please don't think you're out of the ordinary. My situation had nothing to do with weight gain/loss, it was just the way my body got going... of course talk to your doctor about this if you're concerned, they'll know more about your unique situation-- but don't jump to conclusions...every woman is different, and there's no magic introduction to your favorite time of the month. Oh yes, and welcome to the club...But, just so you have hope... I'm 30 now, aunt flo has been  managable and regular for many years!!--things will even themselves out in time, so just try to be patient--(easier said than done, I know!!).

hi dont worry.its ok but you'd better consult a doctor do it as soon as possible to make sure you are healty.a friend of mine has the same problem and she ignored that after visitng a dr she said that she had a cyst.

dont get worry but i repeat consult a doctor to make sure that you are  healthy
