I don't know if others have this problem, but I've never been able to find a bra that fits. I think I am a 30DD (if such a thing exists). If you're also large-chested but very petite, where do you find bras? Help?!?!?!
I have never seen a 30DD in the store, but that doesn't mean they don't sell them, maybe just hard to find. Figleaves.com has that size though. You may just have to order them online. :) Hope this helps a little. Good luck!

Before my reduction I was an F and I had to buy all my bras online, odd sizes just arent in stores. Hope you can find one online!
I was just going to mention figleaves :)
You could also try looking for a bra shop in your area. Most specialty shops would do fittings and have special sizes. Outlet stores may also have them - I have been to the Jantzen outlet, and rember them having unusual sizes.

Bra sizes are soooooooooo confusing. I love the IPEX and I am small with a large bust but not as tiny as you. My measurement around my ribcage is 30 but I take a 36 in VS bras ... and they even feel a tad tight, go figure! Anyway, if you can find an IPEX in perhaps a 32D maybe it will fit well, IPEX are the genuises of bras, it's worth a shot.

i love Bali bras they are the best. my sister got me started wearing them and i got my mom, two cousins... if you have an outlet store near you you can get them for about $14.00 but jc penny also sells then to.
good luck

I'm very petite (5'1'') and large chested (34/36 D) and I always have trouble finding bras. I have various brands and I don't like any of them :/
Can I just say I'm jealous much? Petite and big boobs?? Why God, Why did you deny me??? :)
backtobasics, you and I are very similar in height/weight/chest size
... have you tried IPEX? I wear a size bigger than normal in those bras
but they give the cutest shape and really are comfortable - and
flattering!
Seriously, and thats by victoria's secret right? I desperately need some new bras. But most good bras are kind of pricey (especially at VS) so i'm trying to lose some weight first, hopefully lower my cup size, and then buy some new bras. But then again I don't want stretch marks from bad support, so I should probably get a few new ones.
I actually looked at figleaves before and LOVE their sports bra. But their regular bras have no support and really thin straps that kill (I work long shifts at a hospital and actually need support).
But I recommend the sports bra to everyone. If only I could find a regular bra that fits.
Bali's served me well until I lost weight and went from a 34 to a 30 (they don't make 30s as far as I am aware).
Thanks for your recommendations everyone - I will let you know once I find something :)

Are you sure that you are a 30 band size? According to what we were
discussing on another thread, to be 32 inches you have to be less than
27 inches around your rib cage. That's tiny?!
rozalina, figleaves has tons of bras of different brands. Figleaves is not a bra brand, just an online store that carries them. You might have tried some that did not fit you but there are brands out there that do not have thin straps.
rozalina, I know what you mean about long hours and ill-fitting bras. I found the Pennyrich brand when I was pregnant with my 1st child (have 6 now) and have never changed from them. They are wonderful for support as they have a "bandera" that helps lift and is comfortable, they are great as regular OR nursing bras. They have just about every size imaginable from very busty to very small, all band sizes too. They are fairly expensive, but what woman doesn't need a well fitting bra? If you are interested, just google pennyrich or send me a message and I can help you find a distributer. There are very few brick and mortar stores that carry them, there are a lot of online stores. They have different styles and I can also tell you which are more comfortable. Just wish they made a sports bra. I have the Enell and it is great, but wish I had more choices with sports bras. You can send me a message here or an email at mistymom@charter.net
Again, they are great for ANY size and the best support for a regular bra I have found.

ladygrace.com is pretty good as well. I also take bras to the seamstress to have the straps shortened (same with swimsuits) as this is frequently a problem for me -- that even with an adjustable strap on the shortest length it is still too long. Look for straps that are non-stretch -- they're the best for support.
I'm a 34DD and have so much trouble finding good bras -- I can't imagine trying to find 30s. Most of the brands with those cup sizes start at 36!

I wish I had this problem. I have a small upper body, and I have a hard time finding bras small enough to fit me! ;) You're so lucky!
I'm a 30 DD too, and I despise it. it's absolutely impossible to find bras that fit in stores. I'm, a little wary of buying bras online and not getting to try them on... for the past year I've been buying 32 Ds,which seem to fit better than anything else I've tried in stores.
Thos of you who are 30D or whatnot, what is your ribcage measurement? I am 27-28 around my ribcage but according to all bra measurement sites that makes me a 32 ...
I'm 31" at the ribcage, 30" if I pull it super-tight all the way to my bones, and measured by a professional as a band size 32, even though one would think that should be at least 34. Some people size a bit differently than others, I guess; no 34 fits me properly, although a 32B mostly does. I still don't like the WAY they fit - and can't find a comfortable unlined bra in that size - so lately I've just been going without and nobody notices/cares, but in a D cup that might not work as well.
nycgirl: Those size charts are wrong, that's why. :P The idea that you should add 4-5" to your ribcage measurement to get your band size is pretty silly.... I mean, unless you don't need any support, that'll be way too loose! You should add at MOST 3" to your ribcage measurement if you don't want the band riding up your back. For example, I'm 26" under my bust and 28s fit me best (I can only find them online, so sometimes I make do with 30s or even 32s in some brands)
