pets gone wild!
I have sooo many....but recently- Charlie-aka Bubs- 16 pound orange /white tabby- he likes to "tease" 7 year old Sassy cat... Sassy thinks she is queen bee in the house and everytime she just even looks at Charlie- she hisses at him- he just looks at her like "you gotta problem with me?" Then she'll walk past him and he reaches out with his paw and "flicks" her on the tip of the tail! To which, she turns around and glares at him then hisses again. He just looks at her real innocent like- "I didn't do anything..." It's very cute and funny to see....
Last night- my almost 2 year old cockatiel- Monk- mimicked me after I sneezed- at first I thought I was hearing things the first time I sneezed but then I sneezed again and he did the same thing... He also talks- he says, "Charlie, kitty, kitty, kitty" whenever I open the back door. And he says it in my voice and in my daughter's voice. He can also say "Monka punk, whacha doing- pretty bird..."

Ooooh whoo! My dog Jacky - 2 years old now- half labrador retrievor & half shiba inu - is a riot! He likes to "Brokeback" my hubby every night! He gets this look in his eye, settles really close on the couch between us, then proceeds to jump him! He hops on El's back then El goes to the floor, and Jacky tries really hard to toss him by biting the fruit loop on his shirt and pulling left and right.
They both get exercise!
Of course, he does not do this to me - a female- that's why we call it Broke back!

Kristym- it sounds like Jacky is trying to dominate your husband....
My cat "Brokebacks" my dog....It just grosses me right out!! The poor dog is 6 months old and thinks the cat is playing with him - it's so disgusting!! They are both males! YUCK!!
our 6 year old cattle dog and 5 month old whippet love to play, but the whippet is just too fast! The cattle dog lies in wait, trips her over and then lies on top of her ..... very funny to watch!
The whippet has also earned the nickname "Klepto". She just cannot walk past a loose object without picking it up and taking it for a walk. When she is bored she walks past with different objects until she finally has something "precious" and worth a chase! Luckily she is smart and is starting to leave things if we tell her NO.

Bubba, my big, orange tabby is afraid of bugs. Early one morning he woke me up with loud yowls. He put his paws on the bed and pulled my sleeve with his teeth until I got up. Then he led me, just like Lassie, looking over his shoulder to make sure I was following, into the bathroom, into the shower stall. Then he let out a terrible yowl and ran behind the door. There was a 3" long, hairy centipede trapped in the shower stall. Bubba peeked through the crack in the door and watched me dispatch the centipede into the toilet. Then he came and flopped down on the rug on his side and made little squeaking sounds. I think he was saying "Whew! That was close!"
Our cat like to lay in the tub when people are using the bathroom... once there was still water draining from one of the kids' baths. That was a quick in and out!
Claire, that is so funny!! I honestly haven't ever known a cat that didn't enjoy stalking bugs.
But I do have a beagle mix that is absolutely terrified of cats. Even tiny little kittens ...

I have an Old English Sheepdog named Charlotte (there's a pic of her with me in my profile). Anyway, I think she has some kind of anxiety disorder because she eats tissues (used, eww!) compulsively. She walks right up to the waste paper basket and plops her head right in. She also eats my 4-year-old nephews' PlayDoh! Poor thing! I don't know what I'd do without her; I talk to her about everything. Anyone else talk to their pet, or am I the only loser? haha
My cat, Twitch, attacks my kitchen wall. There is a spot about the size of a dime and about 18 inches above the floor that doesn't look any different from the rest of the wall but she does flips and cartwheels at least once a week trying to get that spot. I don't know what that wall ever did to her but this has been going on for 3 years now!
On my profile there is a picture of Michant, our Shitzu. He sleeps with us every night. When J-P gets into bed he deposits Michant on the bed, Michant walks over to me, literally bumps my head and gives me a kiss (licks my nose) and curls up beside me ( under the covers). He holds my arm with his and sleeps soundly between us. He has no idea he is a dog. I call him ''My little man''.
Our Tabby cat is our alarm clock. She wakes us up at 6 am. each morning by reaching up and hitting the window blind with her paw. Wap wap wap wap!! over and over until we answer her and get up to feed her. We have 2 other cats so there are always stories to tell.

Dharma-B- one of my dogs, Floyd- he has a fetish for paper towels or toilet paper- he eats them and I always know when he gets into the paper towels because they go right through him! Luckily he's a 75 pounds so they don't get obstructed. Sometimes the two dogs will play keep away with them and run around the house teasing each other- but Heidi will just tear them up though...
jen, you're right, it's gotta be a fetish! Gross, but . . .
My friend has a wire hair fox terrier who steals paper napkins and tissues and hides them to chew up later. One day we were having coffee in her den and she nudged me. We kept talking but watched the dog. He stole one paper napkin after another off the coffee table and hid them under a chair, looking at us out of the corner of his eye to make sure we didn't turn around. It was so hard not to laugh. After a while my friend got up and retrieved all the paper. He crouched down, whined and covered his nose. Then we had to laugh.
Yes-Jacky may be trying to dominate Ellie, my hubby, but so far he has not succeded...
Jacky loves brown paper bags - he snatches them from your hand, runs off, then shreds them into tiny bits. I use them to light the stove...thanks Jacky!

Ooo.. I have one.
This is back in Buffalo. Back in Buffalo, when we first started collecting cats, we had three cats.. Cleo, Smokey and Mouse. Cleo and Smokey were unfixed females and Mouse was just a kitten, bought from the SPCA (thus, fixed).
Well, one day Smokey's in heat. She's yowling her fool head off and it's just annoying. I'm on my computer, typing, and I look over and there's little kitten Mouse and Smokey.. and suddenly little kitten Mouse is.. mounting Smokey!
I was so shocked! I'm like "Moooooooooooooooooooom!" and she comes down, sees it and says "What are you worried about? Mouse is shooting blanks!"
....
My family is odd.
Including the cats.
After that, we got Smokey and Cleo fixed!

Our cat has an addiction to water, he plays in the water dish (so annoying because he splashes water out)...but the best is in the morning when I first wake up. I'll go in the kitchen to make coffee then start heading back toward the bedroom...he will tear out of the kitchen in a wild fashion to get to the bathroom and then meow at the shower waiting for the water to turn on so he can stick his head in and lick the water dripping down. He leaves the shower with his head soaked, and I thought cats didn't like water.
...and if you've ever watched ferrets playing, they are a riot...so many stories! I have 3 and they are just the funniest creatures.
So Bubbles (albino ferret, white with red eyes and fluffy), she will take any stuffed animal she can and drag it across the house and hide it, she has huge collections. And many of these stuffed animals will be 3 to 4 times her size. We'll find her hiding place, take all her animals and lay them in the middle of the livingroom and it's hilarious to watch her take them back one by one, dragging them down the hallway!

My dog Salem who is a lab / GSD mix can open doors with his mouth. He always walks in on my friends when they are using the bathroom. He can't stand to be far from company when they are over. It scares them when it happens the first time. They remember to lock the door after that.
He can also open the fridge which is really annoying. He will go off and then come back with a bottle of water or something out of the fridge (he loves plastic bottles).
He loves to play in the snow too. When it snows and he wants out he will jump all around like he has to pee really bad, and when we let him out he will pretend to pee and then run off and play.

My golden retrieve used to eat walls. Once she got right through to the insulation. Thank heavens she finally grew out of that!
