Where is this list coming from? A bunch of that stuff that is listed is not on Dr. Simeons' original protocol list.
I'm doing this through an HCG clinic and theres alot more food on my list than here BUT there's no red meat allowed. Same with apples since they are so high in natural sugar. Is there an original protocol list on the internet? I'd like to adhere to the original as much as possible. I'm determined to get my baby and marriage weight off!
http://www.hcgfatloss.com/dr-simeons-hcg-prot ocol.htm Here's a link to the original book. It seems like there are clinics and doctors everywhere who are modifying the original list for some reason. Dr. Simeons created this diet and studied it for 20 years. It just seems to me like he would know what does and does not work for optimum results. Either way, I wish sometimes that I was following a different list because Dr. Simeons list is so restrictive!!! :)
I am with you...I'm going off the original guidelines which takes out all fruit but the apple, orange, grapefruit, and strawberries and I don't get broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, or green beans...I would be eating all of those now if I could. ;)
I was surprised how many variations there are of this diet but Simeon having been the lead researcher driving the HCG movement helps keep me on the stricter diet. So far I'm down 40 over two rounds and have dropped down to a 10/12...for the first time in my life!!!
Word of warning going into phase 3 though, last round I exercised TOO MUCH and it made P3 horrible. I was on a steak day every other day and my body went into a horrible spiral of gaining (we're talking POUNDS) in one day even when I kept my calories to 1300 a day WITH an 800 calorie burn doing Zumba...I think anorexics consumed more calories...this is not the way I want to live the rest of my life.
So...here I am on round 2 again and looking at it as a reset phase and sticking to the light walking...something I CAN do the rest of my life. :)
Good Luck Everyone!
Hi everyone,
I will be starting the protocol on 27 Oct. I weigh 195 and need to lose about 60 lbs. Hopefully this helps. I will be doing the prescription injections through a clinic. I have tried the drops twice with no luck. They tasted like pure rubbing alcohol to me and I was never told about the load days before so I am sure that is why I could not stick with it. I was freaking starving!
I went to a spa yesterday for a body contour wrap (which was wonderful) and had my inches taken down so I will have them to go by once I start the HCG. Lost 8.68 inches due to the detox wrap.
Good luck to everyone.
I started the HCG part of my weight loss at 200.4 and I'm down (as of this morning) to 154.8 in my third round.
I did the injections the first two times and now I'm doing the sublingual drops. They do taste like rubbing alcohol if you don't let them sit under your tongue for the full two minutes. I wonder if you didn't get the full benefit of the drops...you should NOT be starving. And I feel so sorry for you not knowing about the load days; they are the best part of this diet and something to look foward to before starting another round. He, he.
I'm impressed that, given your past experience, you are giving HCG another shot. *no pun intended*
Best of luck!
Hello R2P2D14 starting weight 153.4 down 7.8 My goal is to go for 40 days
I started with HHCG was hungry all the time - went off after 10 days, waited 3 weeks and started the with the HCG Drops bought from Alldaychemist.com.I have been losing .5 lbs daily with a few days stall. The reason for the stall is my own lack of will power on the weekends with the family.I have found that the Coconut Delight to be the best way to keep this Phase going for me. You can find this receipe on line. It really helps! Some people do not do well with coconut oil but I do! I am happy with a .5 average as long as the scale is going down and I happy. I use Calorie Count to help me track what I am eating. Seeing what you ate really enforces me to stay on track.
Love to hear from anyone on Phase 2
M
For those who are or were hungry all the time and the drops tasting like alcohol make sure you are NOT swallowing the liquid but letting it get absorbed under the tongue for 1 minute or as long as you can stand, whatever you swallow will have hardly any taste at all.
Also, make sure that the HCG you have is not fake meaning buy the hcg from a health store or Doctor's office Not from some website online because its cheap. Buy it from a place you trust and can go back to if you need to and talk face to face with a person.
I started HCG drops a couple weeks ago and I have lost 15 lbs so far! At first the drops had a weird alcohol taste :P then i figured out under the tongue, then they sometimes have a little burning and tingling for 15 seconds other times i don't feel or taste them at all. Also I started by taking 10 drops now as I get closer to my goal I am taking 5 drops and see if i continue to lose...i have 10 lbs to go.
My favorite foods and drinks: Egg, chicken breast, white fish, apple, orange, spinach, romaine lettuce, tomato, shallots (onion), cabbage, collards, kale, cucumber, celery with spicy mustard, salad with waldon farms zero calorie dressing!, hot choc made with 100% cocoa powder and Stevia drops, smooth move tea, green tea, matcha tea, seasnax chipotle flavor(seaweed snack) it has 16 cals for 1 whole pack, extreme fiber soft tortilla wrap only 72 cals and 12 grams of fiber. these are the things i always eat and drink. I take a muti vitamin and if i am going out to eat or a party i take some white kidney bean extract so the carbs i eat don't get absorbed and i keep losing weight while i enjoy eating with everyone else, i don't go crazy but i enjoy the food and have fun.
I never had the coconut delight or a detox wrap before but its on my list. Thanks for posting it really helps me stay motivated and to try new things or new variations...
