JayD will remain as honorary Co-Captain and we're thrilled that she will still be playing the games & challenge for her own benefit :)

We appreciate everyones Help, Patience & Understanding!  Most importantly, we hope everyone enjoys the challenge ~ we want it to be fun, a little inspirational and a little thought provoking!

Awaiting orders;  so far I've done Week 3 Part 1.  
Hey all... just dropping in to say "hi" and see how everyone is doing!  I have also done Week 3, part 1 & 3 (brain bender) .. was going to try and do another part sometime tonite. 

How's everyone else doing on the week 3 challenges?

Hi Vive :)

I was just reading your last team thread and was delighted to see JayD will still be playing personally.

Here's the deal.  Some parts change each week, some don't...

Part 1 Goals and Part 5 ~ Exercise and stay the same each week.  We just give you stuff you can choose to read and think about or not... 

Part 2 ~ Eat well & appropriately ~ Does not change each week. You think about how, why, when & where you eat.  We give you a topic to read and think about, if you want.  The points come from thinking about how you eat.  In your head or written down... it's up to you.

Part 3, Brain Bender ~ 10 points for trying... even if you don't solve it... cuz united is crappy at this stuff and doesn't even try ;)  More points if you email an answer, more points if they are right...  but no big deal.  Look at it, try for a few mins and if it's a problem, take the 10 points and move on...

part 4, food.  2 people each week do a recipe so we don't all have to do one each week.  The rest of the people can read the stuff if you want, drool over the other peoples recipes.  but the important part is do you know about this cuisine, like it?  or not?  You can spend 2 mins reading the summary or go further with the links.  It's up to you...  Just reading the summary and thinking about if you like those foods gets you 25 points...

Parts 6 & 7... there's something to do with the googled link on super foods and the motivation statement each week.  you did them week 2, week 3 the team picks their fav, week 4 is a break & you do nothing except vote on which team is best... week 5 we start over...

I hope this helps.  This is meant to be fun, a bit inspirational and thought provoking.  You can spend a little time just reading the little blurbs to get the points or you can delve deeper and do more... The choice is up to you.  It's not like school or work!

So if you need to, double back.  We will always take late points!!!

And please feel free to ask if you have any questions.  We usually don't have a chance to read these threads, so please feel free to ask us on your submission thread here...

Please everyone, be sure that you have 'friended' the username  'phatfighters' in your profiles so that you can access the team journal. I have made a new entry for each of the first 3 parts of the Week 3 challenges, so you can answer in the comments section of each. 

 If you don't want to post it in our team journal, no problem, but add a comment in the journal to indicate you have completed the part so that I can score you properly. If you want to share your answers with only me - ok to go ahead and email me directly... Meanwhile I will be completing the scoring for the first 2 weeks, so please go to the journal and check to be certain you have entered all your answers!!

Hi all,

I'm still going strong, (lost 2 pounds since being part of this challenge)  :D     I'm so happy and motivated.  I'm going to catch up and put the parts that I've done so far in my journal. 

Happy Days are here again!!!!!  I was this weight 16 years ago. Only 9 or 14 more pounds to go depending on how I look in a photograph.
