Eurotophobia- Fear of female genitalia.

The mind boggles.

I see a new horror flick: Attack of the Girl-Bits!

Oh no! Her genitalia! AIEEEE! *runs away!*

Well, I have a little bit of Coulrophobia - clowns just creep me out.  It's not as bad as a lady I work with though, who can't even stand to take her kids to the circus if there's a chance of them being around.

Can't speak for the lady at work, and I can't really explain my fear either - but I've heard it stems from evil portrayals in the media (ie: Stephen King or the Joker), or a bad experience with one as a child.  I didn't have either of those - I just remember having the worst nightmares about them after one uneventful trip to the circus when I was 6.  The nightmares stopped after a short while, but I still can't stand them.

lol HK wonder if it's something more gay men suffer from than straight men?

Bogyphobia- Fear of bogeys or the bogeyman......is this bogeys as in snot? and how can you have a fear of bogeymen when they aren't real?  or am I missing the discovery of a real true bogeyman found under a bed in a rural eastern European country....

So...who is going to admit to Cyberphobia?  Anyone?

You forgot one at least it applies to me. Fear of the mob. I cant tell you how many nightmares I have had about them coming after me. Im not sure why I blame it on the many mobster shows I watch late night. Truely creeps me out.............

and what have you done to deserve the Mob coming after you Angie?  lol

Phronemophobia- Fear of thinking---- I think this is one which is becoming more prevailent of late

haha tankgirl thats the funny thing the only thing I know about the mob is from tv or what my late grandfather used to tell me when I was a child he hailed from russia and he would always make up stories about the russian mob to us for entertainment. I guess it stuck because now as an adult im petrified lol
I don't have any phobias per say however, my former co-worker had a serious fear of snakes, I mean she couldn't even say the word snake and if she even saw a picture she would start hyperventilating! It was that bad!
Bacillophobia- Fear of microbes. Bacteriophobia- Fear of bacteria. But the 2 things lead me to Enochlophobia- Fear of crowds. But the weird things I that I love PIGEONS,they are so funny and I don?t care what they might carry. Yup, i am pigeons lover!
Anuptaphobia- Fear of staying single

Yep.  :oD
one of my exes had a serious snake phobia, couldn't even watch them on tv......
Snake phobia is very common, but some of the other ones are weird, I didn't even know a fear of asymmetrical things existed.
I knew a woman one time who had a phobia of lettuce... she couldn't even see the salads in a restaurant... she'd go all pale and start to hiccup (don't know why the hiccups).
ok, here is a weird one....i have a phobia that i'm sure doesnt have name. If the button on a ball point pen is not pushed and some one writes with it on paper it will make me want to puke!! lol. It's like fingernails on a chalk board for me.
Don't we all have algophobia? I'm sure everyone fears pain!
Demophobia- Fear of crowds. (Agoraphobia)

Yeah. I've had panic attacks at school before when this has acted up. The serious one for me is a fear of germs, I will seriously wash my hands so many times per day that everyday my hands are dry and raw without constant lotion. I've washed till my hands bled from cracking. I can't leave the house without santitizer with me. Especially if I plan to go shopping or get gas. So bad. :/
Me too, eden!
SNAKES!!!!!!!!!!!
the lettuce thing makes me think of my MIL with regards to touching cabbage she wont touch it she wont make anything with it and says it just makes her sick to feel it in her hands.
I absolutely hate spiders and centipedes.  But my other big phobia doesn't have a name -- fear of mayonnaise.  Seriously.  Just the thought of it makes me a little sick.  I don't even feel good thinking that it's in my fridge right now because my husband likes it.

A little boy I used to babysit when I was a teenager had a phobia of corduroy.  He couldn't take it if anyone wore corduroy around him.  He also didn't like miniblinds.  Weird.
