OMG!! this is the website I've been daydreaming about for months! Granted, mine was arranged by BMI but still! Fantastic!
They need more pictures. You don't need to show your face, right?

pompey- i am not sure. they give guidelines for submitting a picture here: http://www.cockeyed.com/photos/bodies/bodies_ intro.shtml maybe you could email and ask them if you want to send one in.
This is great... since most of us have trouble seeing us as we really are (oh I'm much fattter than fill in the blank) it is really nice to see real people
i'm not sure how accurate this is. it's fascinating, but....
it's self reported, right? there seems to be some driver's license - type weight reporting going on. i first looked at the girl who is 5'10", 140. i'm 5'10' and would like to be that weight one day. but...she looks about 160 to me. i sent the pic to several friends with her height, but not weight and they all guessed her to be 150-170.
then, i cross-examined pictures of my friends w/ pictures for corresponding stats. same deal, they didn't seem to match up.
obviously i've wasted quite a bit of time on this. in any event it's interesting that the site is meant to challenge (or solidify) perceptions....it certainly got me thinking!!
very cool link! thanks, bunnies!!

kkmc - it is self reported so there are definately some issues with that. also it is only broken into 10 pound intervals so people are rounding up or down, but probably alot more rounding down is done. it would really be cool if a structured study run by doctors was done like this. it would also be helpful to know body fat% vs muscle% and frame size as determined by a dr. and more photos at each spot would give more to compare on.
but this site is fun for now!
