Pick a Goal to Reach by Passover....
I would love to start a challange and have it complete the day before Passover. April 18th. I am heading up that day to have Passover with some family and would really love to be down to my goal weight (145) by that time. I only have 10lbs to go so I was wonder if anyone else is up for the challenge. It's a little less then a month away but would love to have some other people who are up for the challenge. Maybe just make it a 10lbs challange. Let me know if anyone is intersted. I would love to have a weigh in on Friday.

I'll help in your challenge!
Awesome...I really can't wait...I needed something to get me motivated and seeing if I can lose the 10lbs by the time I next see my inlaws. What is your goal going to be?
So even though no one wanted to do this for me I guess that if I at least do it myself maybe I can stay motivated. So I weighed in today. I was 155 so my 10lbs is defiently the goal for August 17th. I hope people want to join in but if not I will keep weighing in and see what happens :).
Hi, all. This is some extra incentive. My goal is to fit into some size 12 pants. I think I need 1" off the waist for that. Instead of a weigh in I will measure.
Any goal will fit in here. I figure everyone has their own goals. I am glad to have someone else in here to keep me motivated. I hope some others join us. Good luck and keep me informed on your progress.
Thanks. And I just looked at your profile -- welcome to the mishpoche (yiddish for family).
thanks...it's been a year now but I am still learning so much.
ok, I took measurements, they are 40.5 / 35.5 / 41. Hoping to see improvement before the first seder!
Alright so I wake up disapointed this morning...I weighed in and lo and behold no progress. I am still at 155. I have a feeling that part of it's because it's that time of the month. I have felt like I have been doing really well this week but maybe I am not doing as well as I thought. Oh well...better luck next week. How did you do? Let me know how your measurements turn out.
TTOM always causes the scale to spike for me, and it goes down after.
Haven't done measurements yet, and about to head to work. Will report measurements later.
But the scale is down now, after bouncing between 159 and 161 in March. It said 157ish for 3 days in a row. I'll take that as progress.
Wow thats awesome. Lets hope your measurements are going down as well :) I can't wait to hear how it's going.
So I weighed in this morning and good news...I am down to 151lbs. I am super excited. And hope that the trend keeps up this week. I hope I can lose some more by the time passover rolls around. I am sure that I won't reach my goal but I am hoping that I will be closer. How did you do this week?
woo hoo, congratulations!
measurements this morning were:
40
34 -35 depending on posture (are you supposed to contract abs or not?)
39
also, the scale said 156 today and 155 for the two previous days! I wasn't expecting that at all!
I measured the pants, they are 32" and don't quite fit yet.
Well...there is some improvement that is for sure. Congrats on that. One week to go.
Well...My husband and I are leaving tonight so I had to weigh in this morning instead of tomorrow morning. I am a little disappointed in myself. I was only down a half pound this week. I know it's some loss but I know I could have been better. I just was so busy the past week. Getting ready for this trip and passover all together plus I've been working a lot. I really can't wait for this day to be over. Anyways...I hope you have more sucess then I did. Hopefully since I really don't care for matza that much I will lose some weight during passover since I pretty much just eat veggies and fruit the whole week. Good luck and Happy Passover.
