So i had pics taken Saturday......

and they were put online tonight for previews. My mom called to tell me they were online. Before i even have a chance to see them she says...they turned out great but, well, you're going to hate your chin! But you're working on that!.... so that was a nice start

so i looked at the pics and she's right. the way i'm turned makes one side of my face look huge. just ONE. The other side looks fat of course but one side looks like i have mumps. I'm NOT impressed with the pics at all and not just the ones of me. Of course i think my kids look cute but the rest of the pics of my extended family arent that good either. The poses are bad and not terribly flattering for anyone.

so then i showed the pics to a friend i havent seen in a while who said wow you've really gained a lot of weight under your chin! which made me think....GEE THANKS MR TACTFULL. i bet you don't date much with that kind of tact do you? lol.  But of course i didnt say that.

The thing is, i was looking at the pics compared to the ones from Christmas and i DO see a difference. I have a long way to go of course but the 31 pounds i've lost is noticeble. at least i think so. And my hair looks less oily and my skin is better. It's just such a long road day after day. I guess I was just writing this for a little encouragement and to see if other people have had things like this said to them.

Wow, you've lost 31 lbs that’s great! Keep up the good work.  As long as you can feel and see a difference in yourself that’s all that matters.  Eventually everyone else will be able to see the difference, but ultimately their opinions really shouldn’t matter.  You've gotta lose weight for yourself and your own happiness, and not for anyone else.  I know you can do it just stay motivated, and don’t let anyone discourage you.
