Before/In Between Picture Comparison - 60 Pounds Down

Quote  |  Reply
I am one of those people with a severe self image problem since I have lost the weight, so I decided to make a comparison photo of myself.  I KNOW that I am no longer the size 20 girl, in fact I am in a size 10, but when I look in the mirror I still SEE the girl I was before.  This comparison really helped me.  The picture on the left is at my heaviest (239) and the picture on the right was last week at my lowest yet (169).  I started this journey on November 9th  and I attribute all of my success to this website.  I have always loved looking at everyone's before/in between and after photos, so I thought I would share mine!  Hope this can help inspire someone to keep it up, because I know all of YOUR photos sure did help inspire me.  I still have 30 pounds to go, but I KNOW I can do it! Thanks everyone!!

You look great!  What is your final goal?

Thanks you guys!

Karefreeman,

My final goal is actually 131. But I figured around 150 I would start seeing how I feel and adjust accordingly.
wow, you really look amazing! congrats on your success! i'm sure you'll inspire plenty of folks with this!
you look fab, and younger! Not sure how old you are but you def look younger than the first pic. Congrats on your weight loss!

WOW!!!  You're doing great!  Just since Nov!  I've been at this since Jan 07 and still have a long way to go!!  We started nearly the same (I was 244), but I'm still hovering at 200, my own fault though!!  And funny, but I say too that at about 150 (the thinnest I've ever been since puberty) I'm going to see how I feel before I make my final goal!

Well keep it up!  You look fantastic and I agree, years younger, love your hair!  Kiss

you look AMAZING!

congratulations.. :)  you look awesome :) and i bet you feel better too..  my high was 212, and i am hanging around 130..  and it took me a VERY long time to adjust to the fact that I AM thin lol.. your mind has to catch up with your body, be patient.. :) my initial goal was 135 then i switched it to 125, so still trucking along.. good luck on the rest :)

WOW YOU ROCK GIRL!

i am in the same mind set as yourself.   Avoid mirrors afraid to see the 'fat' me.  It's crazy insane.  I'm still hoping my mind catches up with my body sooner or later.  I still go to the 'plus' size section and realize that those clothes won't fit me anymore!

Keep up the great work!  You ARE GORGEOUS!!!

Wow, great job!  This is very encouraging to a girl who is even bigger than your before shot.

Wow!  WTG!!! Thats great keep it up!!  You look great!!

First off, AWESOME JOB!! Second I have the same problem I've lost 75 lbs and I still see myself as the 225 lb me rather than the 150 lb me.  I always tell people that in my experiance getting over being fat mentally is harder than physically.  I try really hard not to down myself when im having one of those "fat days"  I try to think postive.  For example I remind myself that I am wearing a size 7 not a size 16-18.  It is weird though, when I was 225 lb I figured that when I got down to 150 that I would never have a "fat day."  Unfotunatley I've come to realize that no matter what size we are we will always have our days, its all part of being a women I guess.  Keep up the good work, I would be interested in how you lost your weight and what motivated you to do so.

Thank you for sharing these!  I have to say we all must still see ourselves as our "fat" selves.  I have lost 46 pounds to date and have dropped 2 sizes, but really don't see any changes in the mirror.

Pictures really do show the truth....you've inspired me to get some in-between pictures to compare!
