I can't take pictures without getting all shaky. You guys were at such beautiful places! I'm jealous.  :3

Really lovely painting Lauren. Thanks for posting it.

I can't view the painting at work! :( I'll have to see it when I go home tonight :)

Your vacation spot was beautiful : mrneville (adorable name, btw)

Next picture of the day for me!

Comes from a quote from a book I read for school. I can't find the quote right now, but I think the painting is up on my deviantart as well.

Hi Adria,

Thanks.  The name is shamelessly borrowed from an old favourite film of mine. You can find a quote from it on my profile page at the very bottom.  Clearly, I had to be either Neville or Nelson. :)  Love your art work!

Love the artwork all of you have posted! I hope I'll get to go to some of the places you've photographed!

Here's a photo I took while I was still living in California: Santa Monica taken from the Santa Monica Pier. I think it loses some of it's oomph when viewed in a small format.

Lovely photo Miss Bea.  Do you miss the beach? I've never lived near the ocean and I miss it.

Thank you!

No, I can't say I miss the beach because we live on Long Island now, so we're still surrounded by ocean. It's lovely here, and the ocean breezes are to die for in the summer!

Where do you call home Mr. Neville?

Here's a couple of photos I've taken on vacations recently...Key West, Florida & Mystic, Connecticut.

Here's another picture of the day, this time a drawing.

Thanks Rach :D

Wow everyone has such great work! Mine's a little different, I'll have to post some artwork next week if I find time to do any. But here's what I did this week. Put in a lot more time then usual trying to push this character, they usually take a few weeks each, but I'm glad to have her done and being tested for a store.

Very fortunate a friend of mine took over promotional work so I could get started on another. Goal is at least 2 more in the next 3 weeks if I can. Lost a partner so I have to make a quick comeback or my paycheck is going to suffer even worse! Cross those fingers for me.

Drew

Ladyduece, what exactly did you do on this model? Everything from modeling to texturing to lighting? If so WOW, am I impressed!!!

hi nasuoni

Sorry I've been off for a little while but with Drew, I'm responsible for her facial features, height, weight and body shape(s) as well as all the texture work for makeup and skin, eyes, and tattooing.  The lighting and promotional setup was done by a friend of mine so I could concentrate on getting more work done for my commercial end of things.

Well, bravo. That's all pretty outstanding work :) I'm envious of people with such obvious talent! :D

Ahaha trippythings - I love the second link. I wish I did something as cool as that in my art classes :).

I used to toy with the idea of 3D modeling, but I never found the time to invest in learning any of it. Props to you ladydeuce...

Mmm, for something less anime-inclined than my usual work, I present: http://riesling.deviantart.com/art/Dentyne-Ic e-inspiration-118261361
