Eat normally..... From past posts I think it's reasonably clear that you need to eat rather more than you currently do and that you're probably trying to maintain too low a weight.   By restricting and exercising to 'make up' every time you trigger another overeating episode.   If you eat normally and be normally active this is less likely to happen.

Also -  if you make a post about pigging out - you can only expect people to give you proper advice if you tell people exactly what you constitute as “ pigging out’’

This is because - you might consider a NORMAL amount of calories pigging out. Therefore, it would be inappropriate of people to give you advice to work out harder than normal the following day if you only ate a normal amount of calories.

A lot of people on this site do view a normal amount of calories as ’’too much’’ therefore it is always good to specify what YOU feel was ’too much’ food.

You need 3500 extra calories, ON TOP of what you have to maintain on, to only gain 1 pound.

So - unless you ate 3500 calories AFTER you ate your usual amount to maintain on - than you will not gain

well before i went to work at 4:45 i probably had about 800 calories, then at work i had a small piece of pizza and salad with blue cheese dressing. then at home i had another small piece of pizza and went to a party where i had about 4 frosted cookies ha and some chips and salsa then after that i came home and had some cheddar popcorn andprobably 2 servings of dry marshmallow mateys. i'm pretty sure i went over my calories (about 1500-1700 to maintain according to CC), probably not by 3500 but still over ): so today im going to eat normally. hopefully i can not overeat at a church potluck tonight (: i really need to learn how to stop eating when im full no matter how appetizing the rest of the food looks.

Based on your profile, it looks like you're a teen.  That means you do *not* maintain on 1500-1700 cals/day.  You need to add 300 cals/day to any number CC gives you or use a calculator specifically designed for teens.  In all likelihood, you just ate maintenance (admittedly, not very healthy food).  So, no, there is no reason to make up for it today/tomorrow.

Hi Ashley

Tomorrow is a new day and a new opportunity to do better.

Since tomorrow is a new beginning the best thing to do is to eat normally.

After all:

It's not the sometimes but what you normally do that counts.

brn

yeah i try to remember that tomorrow is always another day to do better (:
