anyone have any experience with hydroxycut?
i just started using it yesterday and my hearts still beating but i know that diet pills like that have a pretty bad rap. Any advice would be appreciated.
In additon, and please don't think I'm crazy or tell me i'm gonna die or anything silly like that...I was wondering if taking diet pills and not eating...or eating a very low number of calories increases the effects of the diet pill or significantly increases the danger. I realize that this is very unwise and am not planning on it, a girlfriend of mine continued using diet pills through a fast and i was wondering about the science behind this and how dangerous it actually was.
Thank
Reason: Promotion of starvation diets or habits that exhibit signs of an eating disorder ("pro-ana", "pro-mia", etc.) is prohibited.
In my opinion, any drugs that affect the central nervous system, are bad news.
Be careful.
If you MUST use diet pills, use something like Xenical which is actually a fat blocker/absorber. (remember redux and phen phen?) Bad :(

well this will come as a big surprise, but STOP TAKING THE PILLS. Im not going to tell you you're going to die, because you probably won't, but it will affect your metabolism and digestive system in the long run. Anything that makes your heart beat more than normal (besides adrenaline) is not ok. You're better off starting a regiment of b12, ginseng and natural energizers.
I took it about 4 years ago when it had ephedra in it. I started having heart pulputations and had many panic attacks. I found out that I was sensitive to it after being hospilizated. I would be cautious, don't over take it unless your looking for a death wish. I take green tea pills and they would well without the bad side effects.
all Hydroxycut is is caffeine to increase your heart rate to "burn more calories".
I would stop taking it and if you need a boost have a cup of the lite coffee that has 1/2 the caffeine or full strength coffee if needed.
I'm taking Lipo 6 which is pretty huge in the body building community right now. I've only been taking it for a week now so I can't really tell you much about the results. It does help control my appetite, and I can tell that my body temperature is slightly higher because I'm hot all the time and when I ask people around me they are like "no I'm fine". I looked into just about every thermogenic pill on the market and the one that gets consistently good reviews was Lipo 6.
Another thing is why give big pharma your money? You can eat healthy foods that will be better for you in the long run and never have nasty side effects.
Do you really want to take pills that give you the shakes or make it impossible to be more than 20 feet from a bathroom?
I tried hydroxycut for a couple days- made me really jittery and I didn't think about eating cause all I could think about was-- "I need to do something" And then at the end of the day I was a total b**** cause I hadn't ate anything since lunch time -- You definately need to make yourself eat- wouldn't be bad if didn't have all the side effects....
I started taking Slimquick- rapid fat loss- I do notice that I do not want to munch munch all day long.. and this doesn't make me jittery or make my heart race- and supposed to help out with TOM- - Ingredients: stress reducer-hormone balancing- and vitamins and of course caffine.. so far seems to be helping me- will see after a month. not getting my hopes up just yet.
Even if you are taking a "diet pill" you still need to eat.
There are no quick weight loss secrets -- eat fewer calories than you are burning and eventually you will lose weight. Combine a healthy reduced calorie "diet" (of 1200+ (most of us 1500+), with regular exercise and you can almost guarantee weight loss.
Calorie Count is all about losing weight in a healthy manner with a reasonable calorie load daily -- as determined by medical professionals. As such we cannot advocate undereating in any form, regardless of whether it is in conjunction with a pill regimen or not. Very low calorie diets should always be under doctor supervision
