If he has pink eye, the eye will be very red and there will be a yellow crusty discharge that coats his lashes, especially in the morning. It is highly contagious, so wash your hands a lot!

I found info on webmd at http://www.webmd.com/eye-health/tc/pinkeye-to pic-overview

My daughter had a blocked tear duct with she was a toddler and ifshe caught a cold it looked like pink eye. She was always getting sent home from pre-school but didn't actually ever have the stuff.

Thanks, his eye does not seem pink but i guess we will find out when we go to the clinic. wish me luck:)

I had pink eye as a kid and it was nasty! When we thought my daughter had it, we were scrubbing our hands with iodine-based soap, and washing everything she ever touched. We kind of went overboard and it turned out that she just had a cold and conjuntivitis.

Good luck at the clinic. It probably won't be the only time you have to go. Kids are germie! but cute!

hi, thanks for the posts. well, it's pink eye and i too am going over board with washing everything that he touches. i just finished washing all the bed sheets and towels. horrible trying to give a two year old eye drops.....i did though.

have a great night all:)

I had pink eye a couple months ago- got it working in a restaurant.

after taking th eye drops it will go away in like 2 days!

i herd pink eye was from getting fecal sporoform in your eyes. wash your hands lol!

You can pick up some polysporin eye drops, that should help clear it up.

thanks everyone, his eye cleared up the very next day but i still kept him away from his friends til today. i thought i was going to go crazy. almost a whole week of isolation. free we are finally free!!

pink eye is not only from fecal sporoform, it can come from many different bacteria, it is pretty much just a virus in your eye. you can thank wonderful movies like knocked up for the whole "fart on your pillow get pink eye" thing
