The 'Pink Patch'. Curbs Cravings or Utter Crap?

Quote  |  Reply

You've probably all seen the adverts for The Pink Patch all over the Internet. Not only have I seen about a billion adverts from Facebook to Ebay, but also got spam from them in my email.

Anyway last week I decided to try their free 6 day trial (you just pay £1.95 P&P). I've got to the last day now. Personally I think it's a bullcrap-placebo-effect-money-making-scam. I didn't feel it made any difference to my appetite at all & don't think it actually puts anything in your body. When I used nicotine patches they itch for 20min after first putting them on, which I can only guess is the nicotine absorbing in to the skin hence the itch. With these Pink Patches - nothing. OK  nicotine & some kinda seaweed extract are two very different thing, but ........ I dunno.....

..... I wondered if anyone else have tried them? & what their thoughts are.

I just put my first one on about 3 hours ago...I may take it off, I think it's giving me cramps.

Definitely take it off if it makes you feel ill.

Suppose these things are worth a try, but £30 a month. No way Jose!

Yeah, I definitely wasn't planning on taking it past the 6 day trial.  I think a lot of the ingredients are good things to supplement your diet with (flaxseed, L-caritine), but I'd rather do it with vitamins than this patch.

Plus, apparently the Patch can cause fluctuations in menstruation, and I don't really think I want to deal with that.
By the way, I took it off and the cramps are going away.

Neither was I. Cancelled any membership when the free trial arrived.

Plus supplements are a bit a more of a reliable way to ensure you get a bit of everything. & menstruation is bad enough with them buggers messing with it!

Still I would like to know if it has worked for anyone.

I tried the pink patch.... its utter rubbish and I have tried quite a few diet things It has got several bad reports on the internet too And here's there real kick in the teeth ... it’s actually part of a scam, if you’ve ordered by card it will now automatically take money out of ur account and send u more without asking u ... I found out when several of my direct debits were refused and my parcel box was full .. It’s now 2 months since I cancelled and complained. I still don’t have the refund in my account although it was promised several weeks ago!

DONT DO IT....

I had actually never heard of this at all, but it got me thinking - maybe if you put a little piece of masking tape on the back of your hand or something you could look at it and try to remind yourself that the craving is just a craving, not real hunger ...

Oh that made me chuckle.

Good to know it's not me & my massive appetite that it didn't work for.

That Pink Patch looked like a band aid to me.. I didn't buy into it. I saw it pop up like a zillion times, and I did think about it.. But then I had to really think... I came this far, and I did good on my own... So why get the patch.. I didn't go for it.. My girl friend asked me about it a week ago, and I told her.. It's your body, and if you want to try that band aid patch then go for it.. I mean.. It has to be real crap because..... They keep on bugging you about it.. Pop-ups after pop-ups.. 59 pounds down me.. It took me a year, but I did it.. I didn't see where that patch could help. I got 22 more to go, and I will just keep on working hard to lose the rest.. Come hell or high water.. That's the only thing I can do. I have to keep on working to lose the weight. I cousin went on that patch birth control a year ago, and all the side effects she had with it... Started to pop into my mind as well.. Looks like it's an easy way out, and a quick bill for some doctor who works in E.R..

hi guys

im on the pink patch

I havent had any problems. Im not sure if it does anything but I feel like it curbs my appetite a little bit, even if it is tricking my brain its worth it as i signed up to the free trial and cancelled the debit, then i kept seeing them trying to gain back my custom with loads of emails, eventually i saw one for 2 months for the price of one, and so i thought to go for it. and i cancelled the debit after that.

i do think it kinda works, its all natural anyway so im sure it wont cause any harm. i hope!

Ditto.... Even if the patch worked (which it DOESN'T), it's not worth dealing with the company that sells them. Horrible service. I recommend avoiding them at all costs.

I've gone through several levels of management and have decided to go to the Better Business Bureau. I've seen several people post that they had problems with the company too, so I'm going to suggest that everyone file a complaint then we might actually get our money back.
