PINKBERRY frozen yogurt and food log
does ANYONE here have pinkberry in their area? I live in LA and it's a growing chain but it makes me really really happy.
It's basically no sugar added PLAIN frozen yogurt topped with fresh fruit of your choice. they do a coldstone's type thing but they don't mix it in like coldstones...but they have a selection of toppings. you can also use cereal but i tend to get a small (4 oz) topped with strawberries and kiwi or banana. i get kinda full on that and i think it's like 125 calories. no sugar added! yay!
if anyone else has it or has info on it, would it be possible to add to the food log in some way? or at least plain frozen yogurt? cause i wanna start using my food log again and i eat it all the time. its like a great treat and still healthy! instead of ice cream or sugar filled jamba juice (which is across the street haha)

You can manually add it in (go to Account-->Food Log and click add it here under 2). They have nutritional information on their site. (But keep in mind that the information is based on a serving size of 1 oz. There small is 5 oz, medium 8 oz, and large 13 oz. And this isn't including the fruit.) Once you add it in, you can tag it, then anytime you want to add it again, go to Account-->Tagged Items and click the up arrow underneath it. Then click add item to food log.
That's what I thought at first too. This really upsets me because that's what they want you to think. According to the nutritional information on the Pinkberry website the 13-ounce large size has 16 teaspoons of sugar (65 grams) 300 calories in just the yogurt. That?s 1/3 cup of sugar in just the yogurt. The 8-ounce medium size has 10 teaspoons of sugar (40 grams). Toppings can add more sugar and fat.
Pinkberry won't release the ingredients in their yogurt so we don?t know what it is. What we do know is Pinkberry is loaded with sugar and hidden ingredients. It's just candy in a cup!

I love Pinkberry!! I know exactly which one you are talking about...the one in LA in Westwood Village. I go to UCLA and I will make sure that I get Pinkberry at least once a week 'cause it is so damn addicting. The lines don't help much but sometimes I look across the street and see the empty Jamba Juice...
