Recipe Ingredients for Pioneer Woman's Penne a la Betsy

12 oz Penne Dry
16 oz Shrimp
3 tbsp Butter
3 1tsp Olive Oil
1 small Onions
2 clove Garlic
4 oz Wine
1 cup Tomato Products
1 cup Cream, Fluid, Half And Half
1 tbsp Parsley
1 tsp, ground Basil, Dried

Recipe Directions for Pioneer Woman's Penne a la Betsy

  1. Cook pasta.

  2. Peel and devein shrimp. Melt butter and oil in skillet. Add shrimp and cook until just opaque.

  3. Remove from heat, cool slightly.

  4. Chop shrimp into bite-size pieces, set aside.

  5. Dice onion, mince garlic. Heat butter and oil. Add garlic and onion. Saute. Add wine. Let wine evaporate. Add tomato sauce. Add cream. Simmer. Add herbs. Serve.
