While the pizza was cooking...

Quote  |  Reply

I stood looking at my salad and wondered what dressing I could use and save calories so I could have two pieces of pizza...

This is what I did....tell me if it sounds gross.

I have Mazola Pure E.V.O.O. spray...says no additives or silicon...

I sprayed my salad...letting it sit for a bit cause the spray is foamy when it comes out...tossed ...then used some red wine vinegar and a little Mrs. Dash.  Virtually 0 calories and it tasted pretty good...especially since I like oil and vinegar dressing.

So what do you think?  The ingredients for the spray are: olive oil, lecithin, and propellant.

Anyone else do this?

I like to use salsa.. low in calories and a little goes a long way :)

Salsa is nice on salads.

Tonight, I used salad spritzer spray .... 1 calorie a spritz. (plus lemon pepper and onion flakes)

I like salsa sometimes, but wasnt in the mood yesterday I guess.
It sounds fine to me, but I also like to keep a spray bottle filled with mostly vinegar and a little really good olive oil in the fridge and use that on my salads, just as few calories and with the really good oil, the teeny bit tastes even better. But good idea in a pinch!
If you're having two slices of pizza, why didn't you just forget about the salad? o.O
cause I wanted greens with my pepperoni!  Laughing
The spray is just oil...hehe, so hope you didnt use too much! (it does have calories, even though the bottle says it doesnt)
