I've always been a pizza lover, but what I love is the sauce, not the cheese. I know a big chunk of calories comes from cheese, so how much of a caloric punch would pizza w/o cheese make?
I honestly have no idea the answer to your question..I love pizza myself..I think most people do..lol.. My suggestion though..make your own weigh it out and measure your sauce. I would think just removing the cheese from a take out pizza would still leave behind oil. In our stores they sell in the fridge section..pizza dough in a plastic bag..take it home roll it out and top as you please. Pillsbury also makes a pizza dough..not as good as the first..I also think you can go into your fav pizzaria and ask to buy thier raw dough. If all else fails buy the packaged already cooked breads like boboli..or one of those brands.
Well, this is only a guess, but pizza hut's website has a nutrition calculator. Of course, you can't calculate for a pizza with no cheese, but I looked up a slice of 12", medium, hand-tossed pizza with sauce and cheese and it came to 230 cals and 10 g of fat. If I did *extra* cheese, it came to 260 cals and 12 g of fat. I don't know if extra cheese means double cheese, but I would say that it means that you would be saving at least 30 cals and 2 g of fat if you had no cheese at all.
The cheese on pizza for me is where it's at, but I've made pizzas without the blanket of cheese on top a couple of times. I've found that a light sprinkling of parmesan cheese on top of the sauce adds a lot of flavor and not a lot of calories.
You can "build" a pizza with no cheese and get the nutritional value on Domino's website - I've done it! I used to order pizza with no cheese due to being lactose intolerant. The bad part was that I felt entitled to eat more slices since there were less calories with no cheese... (LOL) I make pita pizza sometimes and I'll either use no cheese, 1 tbsp parmesan, or one sliced Babybel or Babybel Light, depending on my mood. Anyway, good luck!

Ive ordered a Dominos Pizza w/o cheese, and aside from getting a puzzled voice on the phone it worked out well. I think that removing the cheese takes off a huge chunk of the fat and calories (but I still have to remember to watch the portion) you can load it up with veggies too which adds nice bulk.
I usually sprinkle some parmesan cheese on it when it arrives, this is a really good!
(if you get soft tofu slices and melt them on top they can somewhat have a mozzerella like consistancy)
Amy's Kitchen makes an amazing veggie pizza with no cheese. i LOVE it!
it says its 410 calories - but that is for the entire pizza. theres no wayi could eat the whole thing.
