I had 3 slice of large cheese pizza, 2 glasses of wine and 1 slice of tiramisu cake.....It totales my fat intake to 55 g.......I am feeling really guity. I didn't even excercise today.
I am planning to eat only 600 calories for next 3 days with maxium 10 g of fat.
I Will today's meal lead to a major weight gain. What should I do Please help!!!!!!
Parul,
Ya'll cannot change what happened today. Use the guilt in a positve way to inspire you not to repeat it tomorrow.
Your weight may go up, but remember this is a marathon, not a sprint. So run your race knowing that tomorrow is a new day in which to enjoy a victory.
Good luck
Parul- please do NOT limit yourself to 600 calories. EVERYONE over eats once in a while! What you had was completely normal, don't feel bad. Just remember that tomorrow is a NEW day. You want to start over, but starving yourself isn't starting over- it's making the situation worse.
Just go back on your original diet plan, but spread an extra hour of exercise throughout the week (that's only 15 minutes a day, if you work out 4 days per week).
Don't weigh yourself right now! You are only seeing water weight. Trust me, this one meal won't undo all of your hard work. Just pull yourself together and start over tomorrow.
I knw I went over board today.....I normally eat healthy and exercise 5 days a week. Today was a cheat day .
Thank you guys I am really feeling better . I am not going to repeat this and will not weigh myself before saturday.
increasing my excercise time this is a very good idea...thanks mimi_js
Um I really don't see why that day was so bad. It sounds to me that with excersize and healthy eating the rest of the day, you could easily fit that into a diet plan. I mean, optimally you would have only had two slices of pizza but at that point I don't see why this meal would cause SO much guilt.
But hey, maybe that's why I'm losing weight so slowly :-P
Pizza, tiramisu, and wine? That sounds like a fantastic meal! Seriously - everyone deserves an indulgence every now and then, and I gotta give you points for choosing the tiramisu (one of the best desserts ever). I bet you really enoyed it (I know I would have!)
Start off with a brand new day - give your body what it needs, eat healthy, get exercise. You'll be fine!
