I for one believe it would be an excellent achievement for a strength trainer, and it'd especially work all the major upper body muscles.

Very very difficult!

They take a long time to master, even the half planche push ups with your toes still on the ground are difficult.

What is it?

Wow, I tried to it. Very very difficult. It's seems impossible (the last one on video)

All I have to say is Holy Cr@p!  No wonder male gymnasts have the bodies they have.

Yup! Who says bodyweight exercises don't get ya in shape? Not me!! That guy is a BEAST!!

This link provides an excellent training program which helps you gain the strength necessary to do planche push-ups =)

^That's basically the route I took..and fyi..it took me over 3 years before I could do full planche pushups at 3x8. And, I practiced hard core over those 3 years. They are by far the toughest exercise I've ever personally done.
