So, as I've mentioned before, for the first two weeks my weight was coming off pretty steadily. On Sunday I had a bad day, but I've been good since then. I was down .4 pounds on Tuesday, and .2 on Wednesday, but today I'm up .2 pounds. Yeah, it's not a big deal, but I was good yesterday, and I kept inside my calorie limit! It's just discouraging when I still haven't got back down to the weight I was on Sunday before I pigged out. 

Is this how slow it comes off normally, or have I plateaued? That would suck if I plateaued after two weeks, and I can't cut back my calories any more--I'm already at 1200! I guess that means it's time to add some exercise, eh? Groan!!!!

I think you're weighing too often for you, if percentages of a pound are going to discourage you. Your weight isn't going to stay exactly the same day to day, and it really might not have anything to do with fat OR muscle. Something you ate could just be a little heavier than what you ate yesterday, or retaining more water, etc. I suggest either not sweatin' the fractions or weighing only once a week.

Of course, if you want to add exercise it could only do good, but I wouldn't feel like I just had to add more exercise than you have been doing because of the small day-to-day fluctuations.

Yeah, I'm not too worried. It's just I've never had a digital scale before, so I've never been able to see percentages of a pound before. I like weighing daily, but I just wasn't sure if that was normal. Of course now that I think about it (now that it isn't 5 in the morning...) of course my weight will fluctuate like that. 

Sorry for my little freak out. I don't alway think so well in the morning...
