plateauing...yuck!

Quote  |  Reply

I started cc on Monday; however, before that I had been dieting for a couple of weeks. I had gained a few pounds over the holidays (mainly due to inactivity), and I am trying to lose them.

I am 15, with a medium-small frame and a muscular build. Pre-holiday my weight was in the low 120s. Now, it's in the high 120's. My goal is about 118 pounds (maybe lower.) I work out as much as I can, although sometimes I don't have enough time to make it to the gym.

For the past few weeks, I have been trying to eat roughly 1300 calories a day. I have lost a couple pounds, but for the past week I have been plateauing at 127. I have tried increasing my calories; however, that caused my weight to shoot up to 128.

Any suggestions?

Edit: My height is between 5'2.5" and 5'3".
