137!!! please answer??????????????
Unless you can burn 7,000 calories by tomorrow... i think not....
l came across a diet drink by Jillian Michael on the internet some time ago, and i have wondered if it really works... You might try it to banish some of the water weight you have.
60ounces of distilled water
l tablespoon of sugar free cranberry juice
1 dandelion root teabag
2 tablespoons of lemon juice.
Supposedly, You drink a glass a day for 7 days and lose 5 lbs.
Let me know if you try it and how it works...

#1 Only if you have two pounds of excess water weight. And even getting rid of that may not be healthy.
Also it isn't healthy to diet while breastfeeding, especially not a crash diet. It's bad for the little guy.
Crash dieting while beastfeeding will just make both you and your baby feel your worst. And then he might be hungry and fussy while friends and family are visiting so you won't even enjoy the visit.
135 is a fine goal for you jessica, but your wanting to reach it by Saturday (that's the day after tomorrow) because you have guests coming is what's giving off the insecure vibe.
A healthy approach to weight loss does not impose unrealistic time limits.
As someone pointed out, if you're retaining water right now, you may be able to lose it. But a pound of fat is 3500 calories and if you want to lose 2 lbs of fat, it will take longer than the day after tomorrow.
Maybe a week, maybe a month...
And I would suggest exercise for you, not diet - low impact if you have bad knees.
And the desire to have it by Saturday makes me think that you somehow believe that you will actually look different with two pounds less on you. News: You won't.
2 pound is not a big deal its not going to show its 2 pounds I wouldnt worry about it
Cutting back on sodium can reduce weight by decreasing water retension. Also eating foods that are digested more quickly like soups, veggies, and fruits can reduce weight by cleaning out your system.
Too much to say on this one, I don't even think I can start.
For someone who is small framed and shorter and closer to their goal, 2lbs can make a difference. I notice a significant difference with just 2-5lbs. But it takes about a month (sometimes longer) to lose that much, not 2 days.
While we would all probably like to lose weight (even if it is just a couple of pounds) before an event, crash dieting generally makes it worse and you end up eating even more and possibly gaining back what you lost and then some.
If you want to feel better about yourself then why don't you do as another member suggested, exercise. When I start feeling down on myself for being out of shape, usually a good workout (mostly weight training) does the trick. I feel much more energized and confident plus I notice that my body is "firmer" from the workout.
Besides, you just had a baby. You've lost what 30-40lbs since having your baby?! Be proud of that. :)
