Unless you can burn 7,000 calories by tomorrow... i think not....

l came across a diet drink by Jillian Michael on the internet some time ago, and i  have wondered if it really works... You might try it to banish some of the water weight you have.

60ounces of distilled water
l tablespoon of sugar free cranberry juice
1 dandelion root teabag
2 tablespoons of lemon juice.
Supposedly, You drink a glass a day for 7 days and lose 5 lbs.

Let me know if you try it and how it works...

#1 Only if you have two pounds of excess water weight.  And even getting rid of that may not be healthy.
forgot to mention I am breastfeeding. Please help, I know I can do something?  baby boy 4.5 months
can I drink this while breastfeeding?
Why the rush??
Im having a my friends and family over on Saturaday, I would feel really good about myself if I were 135lbs
*secretly adjusts jessica's scale down two pounds*
Jessica, if you have to lose 2 lose two pounds in two days to feel good about yourself, then I worry you may have an insecurity issue. You look beautiful. Two pounds more or less won't make you more or less beautiful.

Also it isn't healthy to diet while breastfeeding, especially not a crash diet. It's bad for the little guy.
So than every one on here must be insecure. As a society we lose weight to feel good about ourselves, for energy, and for health. What nonsense are you talking about! Yes I am beautiful but what does that have to do with wanting to lose weight. I am slightly over weight. I completely feel it in my knees! This may sound silly to you  but coming from 107 all this weight is really taking a toll on my body! Furthermore I am not looking for a crash diet just some pointers on how to lose some weight before Saturday. I'm not interested in a lecture rather support. This is what this website is about right>?
I don't know which girl you are in the picture on your gallery... but both are absolutely beautiful!  Two pounds won't make a enough of a difference to worry about!  Instead, pamper yourself... spend a little extra time getting ready.  Being relaxed and fixed-up does wonders for feeling your best and people will really notice the difference!

Crash dieting while beastfeeding will just make both you and your baby feel your worst.  And then he might be hungry and fussy while friends and family are visiting so you won't even enjoy the visit.

135 is a fine goal for you jessica, but your wanting to reach it by Saturday (that's the day after tomorrow) because you have guests coming is what's giving off the insecure vibe.

A healthy approach to weight loss does not impose unrealistic time limits.

As someone pointed out, if you're retaining water right now, you may be able to lose it.  But a pound of fat is 3500 calories and if you want to lose 2 lbs of fat, it will take longer than the day after tomorrow.

Maybe a week, maybe a month...

And I would suggest exercise for you, not diet - low impact if you have bad knees.

Two pounds won't make a difference to your knees.

And the desire to have it by Saturday makes me think that you somehow believe that you will actually look different with two pounds less on you. News: You won't.
This website is for support of healthy weight loss. I do not mean to lecture, I am merely concerned. It is not safe to lose two pounds in two days, especially while breastfeeding. And, you posted this question not as a casual "hey, i'd like to do this, any ideas how?" but in a desperate tone, with many explanation points and you cross posted to at least three forums. To me that sounds like your entire self-esteem is riding on losing those two pounds, which isn't healthy either. I apologize if I've misread your tone.

2 pound is not a big deal its not going to show its 2 pounds I wouldnt worry about it

THIS IS MY PRE BABY WEIGHT PIC OF 107 PLEASE DON'T REMIND ME LOL! I'm the one in the red shirt on the left
I am not judging you on wanting to loose weight.  Two pounds would be hard to do under the short time frame while nursing.

Cutting back on sodium can reduce weight by decreasing water retension.  Also eating foods that are digested more quickly like soups, veggies, and fruits can reduce weight by cleaning out your system.

Too much to say on this one, I don't even think I can start.

Just curious though, what happens Saturday?

For someone who is small framed and shorter and closer to their goal, 2lbs can make a difference.  I notice a significant difference with just 2-5lbs.  But it takes about a month (sometimes longer) to lose that much, not 2 days.

While we would all probably like to lose weight (even if it is just a couple of pounds) before an event, crash dieting generally makes it worse and you end up eating even more and possibly gaining back what you lost and then some.

If you want to feel better about yourself then why don't you do as another member suggested, exercise.  When I start feeling down on myself for being out of shape, usually a good workout (mostly weight training) does the trick.  I feel much more energized and confident plus I notice that my body is "firmer" from the workout.

Besides, you just had a baby.  You've lost what 30-40lbs since having your baby?!  Be proud of that.  :)

So basically instead of all the lectures and criticisms. all everyone had to say is "hey  its an unrealistic goal", because------------". No need for all the bashing. I'm new to all this fitness stuff and am not aware of what's normal what isn't but i tell you one thing it looks like if I need support this is the wrong website. Kind of make's me feel sick to my stomach and a bit discourage to add forums without all the negative feedback!!Embarassed
