I'm honestly not familiar enough with counting calories to be able to know if that's enough calories for you.

Use this site to figure out what you need, then make sure you're getting enough.  I'd plug it in, but I don't have your age or height.

http://www.phord.com/cc/

To me, just from looking at your menu, I'd think you aren't getting enough calories, but I can't be certain.  I also notice you have no dairy products (you do need calcium - try low fat yogurt or skim milk) or fruits.

What kind of instant breakfast?

What the effect will be on your weight is dependent on how many calories you're taking in vs how many you're using up.  You don't say if you're male/female, how old you are or how tall.....  But if you're doing vigorous exercise every day the chances are you're going to need rather more food than you've got listed there.   Try to keep protein bars as occasional treats rather than using them as meal replacements if you want to be in good health.  'Instant breakfast'?... some kind of oatmeal?

NB a 'carb blocker' sounds decidedly dodgy and most pills sold for weight-loss are completely ineffective ....  'Carbs' are necessary for good health so perhaps try the real food and exercise route before you go with that one?

I am with gi-jane on this one. Doesn't look like you are eating enough, and bars should not be a staple of anyones diets. Actually I would go further and say that most/majority people don't need them, and just fell for the marketing BS.

To add what the others have said - listing your meals like this gives us absolutely no idea how much you are eating. Portions are important, and without knowing what amount of these foods you had, there is no way to know if it was sufficient or too much.

In the future, it helps to tell people how many actual calories you ate, since even if you provided us with quantities, you're leaving it up to us to figure out how many calories are in each, and most of us aren't that helpful/bored.

Too much fake food, not enough fat, not enough veggies, and probably low on protein.

I can't possibly eat anymore as I am not hungry for more food.

Then that's a problem....  You need to replace some of this low-cal 'cotton wool wadding' type  food with real foods that actually give you some energy and nutrition.  Foods with some fat would be a good start.... low bulk, high-energy.

With your level of exercise and stats (and I'm assuming you're over 21...) then you need about 2300-2600 cals a day to maintain your weight.  You're not technically overweight.  However if you wanted to lose a pound or two then you should be on an intake of about 1700-1800 so that you've got enough energy and nourishment to stay healthy.

I only eat 1 serving of each thing.  I never have more than 1 serving.  I feel like I eat a lot but it's all low cal stuff.  I can't possibly eat anymore as I am not hungry for more food.

Then the simple solution is to eat more high calorie foods.  Skip the low-cal and pre-packaged stuff.  Add some proteins, dairy and nuts too your diet as it sounds like what you are eating is all low-fat and liekly low-protein.

wow that is not enough food!! No wonder you are not losing. If your body thinks it is starving it is not going to let you lose fat and it is certainly not enough to sustain muscle. You need to increase what you eat big time!

It always bugs me when people say this. *w* I doubt we'd all be on here, trying to lose weight, if this was really a problem for us. And, from what you've listed, I don't know how you're not starving. I could understand if you were eating huge portions of low cal food, but you start your day off with a powdered drink and aren't hungry? Then a fiber bar and eggplant? How long have you been doing this? Is your metabolism that messed up/slowed down?

The calorie total for your breakfast and snack is only 333 calories. That's less than my entire breakfast. ._.

Eat fatty foods. I don't mean gorge on cheeseburgers and candy, but add butter to things, or try snacking on peanut butter, small fatty stuff like that. They add calories and are easy to eat with the food you're eating since you can't possibly eat more.

Breakfast

Instant breakfast - Instead try oatmeal and a piece of fruit

Snack

Eggplant

Fiber One bar

Lunch

Miso Soup - Try a homemade veggie soup, perhaps add some chicken or beef for protien or a chicken noodle soup with egg drops

Protein bar 20g - A few slices of deli meat or leftover chicken and some bread or crackers. hardboiled eggs, tofu, cottage cheese... Plenty of other ways to get protien.

Dinner

Probably some type of fish or chicken with veggies - And brown rice???

Snack

Usually a salad with Balsamic & olive oil dressing - Hummus and baby carrots, Peanut Butter and celery...

Last but not least I direct to the Canada & US Food guides. You should be sticking within the level of calories CC has given you while eating as close to these charts as possible. Notice Protien Bar.. Fibre One Bars... Not on them.

I find Canada's guide to be more fun - they have a section where you can change the foods to represent the things you eat and then you can print it out an put it on your fridge.
