Please I don't want to be a Sardine!

I am watching a David Attenborough programme about the Sardine run and it just popped into my head that if there is such a thing as reincarnation "please don't let me be a sardine" man they have it tough everything just wants to eat them on mass as they attract the greatest meeting of predators on earth.

What wouldn't you want to come back as and why?

What wouldn't you mind coming back as?

I wouldn't mind being like a croc, a bird of prey, or a pet to a really good home.

For similar reasons... I would not return as an african antelope.  Having seen a lot of them in the flesh it's clear that they are just lion food on legs.  Failing that, a slug..... they're pretty pointless too.

I might come back as a pampered domestic parrot.  It would mean I'd live a long, long time, be well looked-after and could swear at visitors with gay abandon..

I wouldn't want to be a wasp, a spider or a fly. Yuk.

I would like to come back as a cat, a well cared for one that is :) It seems to me cats have the best kind of life, have a nap, have some dinner, have another nap and steal my owner's bed ;)

I'd want to come back as a dolphin. I would have some fantastic fun flipping around on the surface, or dive deeply into the depths of mystery. Smart little fellers too.

I would not want to come back as a mole, or really anything that dwells in dark, confined spaces.

 Heck, I do this now! :P... the swearing part anyway.

I'd want to come back as a pampered pet (not like, Paris Hilton pampered, just a normal well loved pet) or a walrus... those tusks would be handy for when I'm feeling stabby... lol

definitely not as a one day fly, just having one day, that must be awfull (and what if you happen to have a bad day exactly THAT one day, hahaaaa)

I'd want to come back as something long-lived, either something that can fly, or can access the open ocean (tortoise?). Definitely something that lives in the wild. No captivity for me.  :)

I want to come back as a beautiful songbird, like a lark or twittering finch. I adore music, and who doesn't dream of flying?

Please, if there is a greater being, don't let me come back as a sloth. That would be a horrible reminder of a past-life in this life....

I'd come back as a hippo, a giraffe or a moose.  A hippo cause I mean, how adorable are they?  And I love the water and they just kind of sleep in it all day.  And, really, nothing eats hippos.  They're just too big. 

A giraffe or a moose cause I think they look like they were made out of spare parts...they don't really fit together properly and I think it's freaking awesome.  I've never seen anything cuter than a baby moose trying to run.

Maybe i'd like to come back as a skunk.  I can eat all the crap i want, nobody cares if i am fat. Others would back off with just a warning, instead of keep yammering on and on about what didn't get done, or i should have done this instead, blah blah blah! I would live in the forest and not really have to worry about being low on the food chain.

Oh, and i would stay away from highways...that seems to be the only thing besides deer that get hit by cars here in ND> peeuuu!

I would hate to be a cockroach... Even though they seem to never die - no one wants them around.  Even spiders are helpful and eat other bugs... but roaches... so useless.

I think I would want to come back as an alligator.  Lay in the water sunning yourself all day - ahhhh I'm not sure how that's much different from what I do now.  And those teeth man ... no one would mess with me!
