A group of moose is called a herd.

moose aren't really very social.  if you see more than one, it's probably a cow with calves or maybe two juvenile siblings together.

and yes, they're still called moose.

pg, have you been hanging out with that Palin girl again?

It's just moose.

There was a moose.

There was a gaggle of moose.

I've really had a problem with what to call more than one computer mouse though.

"The computer store sells mouses"

or

"The computer store sells mice"

Edited to Add: Or if you apply the moose rule; "the computer store sells mouse"

Hee hee this is so funny Laughing

What about more than one Mousse?  Is it still just Mousse if it's plural?  Or Mousses or Meusse?

Well then there is the pandora's box of plural 'douche'.

When hubby and I were in the market for a new car some years back, we decided on a Matrix, but they didn't have one in the color we wanted with our preferred options.  We had a 20 minute discussion with the salesperson over whether or not we should go out to the lot to look at more Matrixes or Matrices.

What about more than one Mousse?

How about:  "I have decided to prepare several mousse desserts for Thanksgiving."?

The Squad Squad would say that this is redundant.

Why?  Are there are people out there putting chocolate mousse in their hair before styling? (Yeah, I know, stranger things have happened....)

But, actually, I think the plural is mousses.

Or serving hair gel for Thanksgiving?

moose (plural moose) or dated and rare, mooses

mousse (plural mousses)

-wiktionary

see, see, see.... i knew it could be mooses!!!

I JUST KNEW IT DIDN'T SOUND RIGHT!!!!

and i would go with computer mice!!!
