Plus size speciality bras??

Quote  |  Reply

HELP!  I'm the matron of honor at a wedding on Sept. 26th.  I cannot find any plus size strapless bra/corsette.  It must be strapless and I need it to be long enough to suck in my back fat and stomach.  I've googled many hours away.  Does anyone have a website or store that I can check out.  I'm a 42 DDD / 42 E.

Thank you!!

Have you tried Lane Bryant? I really like their bras.

try Addition Elle - I know they are in Canada and have an online store. But I am not sure if they have stores in the US.

I found 4 styles searching at Her Room http://www.herroom.com

I'm not sure exactly where you live, but my fave place in the UK is http://www.bravissimo.com

It is the BEST place to buy big-boob bras!  Even if you can't get one ordered in (they do ship internationally, I'm from Canada) by the time you need it, check it out for your everyday needs.  It goes from DD-K.  It has seriously changed my perspective and helped me feel better about myself!  (I'm a 38F)  And all for great prices!

If you are in North America, try to find stores that carry Freya, Chantelle, Panache, Triumph.

Google specialty lingerie stores in your city.  While they are expensive, they can properly fit you (as sizes very between brands) and can find you something that will work.

Good luck with the search, and have a good time at the wedding!  Smile

Bravissimo are really good, I think they deliver most places.

Call your local bridal shops, even though you aren't the bride.  Bridal shops carry dresses in all sizes to meet the needs of a variety of clientel.  They also carry undergarments or can measure you and order one that will be just perfect.  It will cost a bit more, but you will have perfect support and get exactly what you need to deal with boobs, back, and belly.

I agree with Bravissimo - wish I had discovered it years ago! (also great for bathing suits)

I'm in the US and my order shipped quickly. Good luck - nothing makes me break into hives faster than thinking of bridal party dresses and the undergarment angst that ensues!
