How much are you eating per day? Are you doing any physical excercise?
If you give us your stats (height, weight, age), and give us a summary of what you eat everyday, we could help you a lot better. Also, if you do any exercise, let us know that too.
We can't help you without a little bit of information!
"im doing everything the same way i did in first month.. but my weight is so static.. its standing right there after the 10 lbs loss"
This line might be part of the problem. You have to change what you do, increase time, weight, level of difficulty, reps, or whatever it is that you do, so that your body continues to work to keep up. Eventually your body becomes used to a new routine, so some variety is key.
thx all for replying
im female.. 28 years old height is 5 ft 2 inches and weight after pregnancy is 220 after 10 lb loss
i eat 1450 cals per day.as advised by CC i mostly log it in at the end of the day sometimes its 100 above sometimes 100 below.. never went under 1000 cals.. im doing calisthenics 30 min 5 times a week.
i started with 10 min workout in first month and took it to 30 min gradually.. going to take it to 1 hr workout.. and i do eat my exercise cals
i try taking low on carb food..usually take soups.. whenever i feel hungry.. calculated cals ofcourse.. i dont keep myself hungry.. so my meals are often 5 or six meals of small portions.. mostly consisting of fruits and soups.. i dont eat raw or boiled vegeis.. they make me sick
so any help now???? plzzzzzzzz
Have you tried watching the salt content of your food? If you're sticking to a lot of canned soup, they can make you retain water from all the salt, so it won't seem like you're losing as much. Sounds like you are doing a good job eating healthier, but you might need to vary your diet a bit from fruit and soups. Unfortunately, you'll probably have to eat some vegetables.. even if cooked in with something and the flavor "disguised".
im using low salt.. its a salt with 66% less sodium
i do drink lots of water
and no weight loss is frustrating me
i ate alot today.. im angry at myself ![]()
Don't be angry at yourself. Just pick yourself up, dust yourself off and move on ![]()
I think you will have to try eating some fresh fruit and vegetables. Is there any you or think you could get used to? They will help fill you up and provide your vitamins and minerals.
I personally don't think low carb is a good idea, you need complex carbs (wholegrains, pulses, fruit and veg etc) for energy and to fill you up. Eat a healthy mix of foods, well sized portions, drink lots of water, cut down on caffeniated and carbonated drinks and on artificial sweetners and be as physically active as possible and you should see some changes.

be patient.. results will not be noticeable right away...it takes several months before it becomes evident.. just make sure you are following your diet religiously..
here are info on what has helped me lose weight and most importantly feel good about myself..through this, i now have the confidence that i lacked before..

You say you log your calories "at the end of the day". I would advise logging them right after you eat them. You put something in your mouth, you log it. Do not wait until the end of the day. Study after study has proven that people usually UNDERESTIMATE how much they have eaten at the end of the day. WEIGH everything you eat and log it immediately. If you do not have access to a computer all day, weight what you eat and write it in a journal. Log it on CC at the end of the day. You might find that you are eating more than you think.
I've logged lots of calories over the past few years and even I "forget" sometimes if I wait till the end of the day. So that could be the problem. And you mentioned that you eat back the exercise calories? So what would that amount to? Is that included in the total?
To keep things moving along you've got to mix things up a bit. How sedentary are you? Are you drinking lots of water everyday?
Do you know what your BMR is? That's how many calories you burn everyday just being alive. It's really hard to say why you're not losing this month. Maybe just a temporary plateau. Re-evaluate your plan, make sure you've got a deficit everyday and you should see some progress soon.
thx for the support guys
and thx especially for the liks they r very very helpful
instead of eating your exercise calories, try eating maybe just half of them, or none at all. if you're eating your burnt calories, it's like you might as well have not worked out at all (if you choose to think of it that way). like caloriecount says, you'll lose weight if you're eating less than you burn. i work out to increase that burn, not to increase my calorie limit.
let's say you burn 300 calories. that's equal to a cheeseburger at mcdonald's! so instead of eating that "cheeseburger", have a glass of orange juice at 120 calories instead. your metabolism will jump at the oj and you still have not eaten what you burnt. i LOVE a glass of oj or an apple after i work out. i don't feel hungry but it's SO good to get your metabolism going again otherwise it SLOWS after you workout... just don't eat everything you worked off. :]
Why can athletes eat so much?
Athletes need adequate calories to offset those they burn in training and competition. They eat to either maintain their body mass or gain muscle... Read more
