Help! Here is all I ate today, It's only 979 calories!!! I feel like I ate a lot! What is a good snack to have late at night?

One snack (or for me, lunch replacement) I've found that really satisfies me and tastes very good, are Odwalla bars...yum!

Or if you like, any sort of protein or nut bar. 

At night I like to have an apple, a banana, and a cocoavia bar (healthy vitamin-y chocolate!).  that amounts to about 250cals or so.

Just try sneaking in some calorie dense foods during your day that won't make you feel too full.  On your english muffin for example, have some peanut butter.  Go for the full-cal dressings if they taste a lot better than the light ones. 

I'd also recommend more than just soup and yogurt for dinner.  Try adding some protein in there, or another course of veggies/fruits

Have a bunch of nuts.  They are very healthy and great for you, but are usually higher in calories.  Measure out 300-400 calories of nuts and munch on them.

And I would also suggest trying to plan your days, as best you can, ahead of time, to ensure that you are not at a 979 calorie intake amount at the end of the day.  Think about your meals ahead of time, log them, and follow your meal plan as best you can.

A great snack bar are the Lava bars.  So yummy:)
i like the nuts and milk ideas... but also even if youre under your cals for a day its not going to hurt because its not an exact science, just be sure you'll eat enough tomorrow.
slim fast optima vanilla.

its about 200 cals.

heat it (milk) up and add powder & dash of cinnamon and its like snickerdoodles in a cup. its soooooo good.
and they are made to keep you full. and it REALLY does.

plus its a nice little dose of fiber to give you morning colon power. lol

another good one:

broccoli with cheedar on it.

I really like the Fiber One choclate and oat granola bars. THey are very good and have lots of fiber...I usually have mine with a glass of milk.
