AHH!! I have PMS and I binged today! However, it was all healthy foods. My calorie intake hit about 1700 and I normally eat 1300-1500 because I'm fairly active. I plan on working out a LOT tomorrow, but sheesh!!

Should I feel bad about this!?

No sense in feeling bad about it!! You only went 200 over the high end of your range, and one day like that isn't likey to ruin your progress. Besides we all know that TOM makes you crazy so I say if you found a little comfort then good for you lady. I am also PMSing and I treated myself to some delicious Bulgogi.

Better to eat the head of the chocolate bunny,

Then to eat the heads of your cocktail buddies.

You are not the only one . . . I actually bought a bag of chocolate covered pretzels to celebrate PMS.  (No two, they were on sale two for one)Embarassed.

No, don't be stupid.  Go for a walk or something.

"I binged today ... it was all healthy food" + clearly stating you only went 200 cals over... & you intend on "working out a LOT tomorrow"

Umm, what was the point of this post?
okay...so by the end of the day it's 2000 calories. Looks like I'll be in the gym a little longer than usual tomorrow. thanks for the comments though.
The time of the month is a B**ch and I think we deserve a little breathing space around that time. I dont think we should go nuts but if we give in a little so what! I mean sheeash were about to bleed for a week and not die! I think that deserves a bag of maltesers!!

DOnt give yourself such a hard time, one bad day out of 30 isnt that bad when you think about it!
what gets me through is popcorn!!!!!!!!!!  Airpoped with the spray butter and the butter powder.  Not too many calories, but really helps when I get the munchies!

I agree, there is no sense in feeling bad. You binged but at least with healthier choices. It could have been worse and you could have eating about 17,000 calories. :-) Tomorrow is another day and you get to start all over. Exercise is a great idea as well to get rid of the "guilt". Good luck!

2,000 calories is not a lot for someone who -plans on spending a lot of time in the gym-? and 200 calories is not a binge, come on... 200 calories lol?

I've eaten like 2,600 cal a day on accident- skipped the gym- and I never gained a pound! Dont worry just do better from now on!

dont sweat it - ONE day a week like that will actually help to maintain a higher metabolism.  I purposely raise my calories once or twice a week and eat 1300-1400 a few other days, so my calories are not consistent.  Bodies are smart, we have to trick them :)  Usually the day AFTER the larger amount i do high intensityintervals.   I use the treadmill primarily and LOVE itrain.com's mp3s to help me do them. I need someone telling me what to do for excercise or i go "oh it hurts" and dont push through it :))  I wish they had those for when I went to the kitchen, a voice to yell at me " OK, do you NEED this extra food run? If you do, move AWAY from the cookies and towards the roasted chicken or salad" LOL

So dont worry about one or two days - just reduce a bit on other days and increase the intensity/duration of your exercise :)
