Why do you "need" to get down to 95 lbs? That would put your BMI at 17.9, which is underweight. I am 5'1, and I am pretty sure the lowest weight for our height is 105.
If you are lucky, you'll get no "tips" on how to persue a very dangerous path.
My daughter is 5'1" and 95 lbs. (16 yrs old) and she consistently gets teased at school for looking anorexic as well as a school bmi report of her being underweight.  She is by no means anorexic (she eats all the time), but can't seem to get past the teasing nor gain any weight.  I would not reccommend going to 95lbs.  I think 100 to 105 is perfect for your height.
100 pounds is underweight for your height, is it not?
Hi indiangirl

I am 5'1 as well and currently weigh 113 lbs.  I am aiming for 104 because that was what i weighed before the holidays and winter!! which always get to me lol.

Anyways, 95 is definitely too low for you.  I remember I once wieghed 98 and I WAS suffering from an eating disorder at the time.  Do it the healthy way, work out, eat healthily, and love your body when it is lean and toned, not scrauny and starving.  That is no way to live, believe me I know.  And for us 5'1 girls, our ideal weight is typically no less than 105.

good luck
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I'm beginning to think that some of the people who post here are doing it for fun.  They aren't as tiny as they claim and they aren't anorexic.  They're just looking to ruffle some feathers.

A previous post from another person said : "I'm 4'10 and 66 lbs.  Help me lose more weight."  That could be true.  But she's been a member since September.  She's read stuff.  I doubt A) it's true and B) she wants help.    >>>>  I'm sorry.  I could be wrong.  She could be in dire trouble.  I doubt it.

I just don't buy it.  I think some of these people who post these hideous stories are absoultely in trouble.

Eating disorders are real and they are horrible.  I do NOT mean to make light of them.  Those people, those who suffer from them, are real and they need help.

However, as many times as that stuff is posted (especially by people who post who have been members for months (i.e. seen all of these posts a million times)) I think a lot of it is just to get your goat.

This one caught my attention, and ire, because of the fakeness to the post in general...  "websiteee"  "lbssss"  "lbss"  Diett"  tipss" "Heyy" ???  Please.  This is crap (if I'm wrong I'm sorry).  This seem like manure gone nasty.

If I"m wrong, I applogize.  But this seems faker than the fakest fake thing in the history of fakeness.
ksripp: That's exactly the feeling this post (and so many others I have seen recently) gave me, too.
heyyy everyone.. thanks for replyingg.. im trying to do it the healthy way .
trying to do what the healthy way?  Lose weight?  You've already gotten lots of advice and all of it says that dropping weight would not be healthy for you.  If you want some sort of approval for what you're trying to do, you won't get it from me.
95 lbs at 5'1" even is TOO THIN - no matter who the person is.  I know everyone is different, but I am 5'1" and the absolute lowest I've been is 103 and I was even too skinny at that weight.  95 lbs is ok for a little kid, be realistic!!
i'm even shorter at 5 ft and i can tell you that when i am superfit with an incredible body i weigh in at 110 lbs.  95lbs is too thin even for me and i'm shorter than you.  i don't know why you want to be underweight but you really need to get some help.  i'm pretty sure that you will agree that anorexic people can all be classified as underweight.  why would you want to be in that category of people?????  truthfully you should find a support group and perhaps try to GAIN just a few pounds of muscle.  please get help and look at all of these posts.  do you think that all of us would be lying to you????  we are here to support you and want you to be healthy.
To: indiangrl11088, really you need to create a profile so we can see how old you are!  If you are 12 years old, 95 lbs is ok, but no one is going to take you seriously here or try to motivate you if you seriously think 95 lbs is a healthy goal weight for any adult height!
Hey

We actually have the same stats. I'm 5'1", small boned, and 16. I used to be 95 pounds when I was 13, but gained 20 pounds by the time I was 15...then I lost it..and I'm currently 102.....I feel great, but my mom thinks i'm too skinny so I have to maintain my weight..sadly.

But 100 is pretty nice...i think you should just maintain..  95 pounds is alright IF you're like...12.
Only 5 pounds? My leg weighs 100 pounds. Maybe you should go to a weight gain site. Like, muscletech.com.
Hi, I'm 5'1'' and 100 lbs.  I'm not trying to lose any, though.  I want to tone.  I want to be fit and healthy and strong.  I might gain a few lbs in the process, but that I don't mind.  Honestly, I suggest you do the same.

Why would you want to be scrawny-looking and weak?  That's just gross.
hey

i read your post and i noticed many people are very unsupporitve so i thought i would say a few things.

for one - just because your BMI would technically state that you're underweight - you may not be.

BMIs are unaccurate. a more accurate way of knowing if 95 pounds is underweight for you or not would be a body fat to muscle and other tissues ratio. there are things that can determine you body fat and tell if you're underweight or not.

i am 5'2 and i weigh about 97 pounds. my BMI says i shouldnt weigh less than 109 - but im not underweight.

i think you should do whatever will make you feel better about yourself. don't listen to what other people have to say. do what makes you happy. just do it the healthy way.

:)
Oh!  This post made me feel really fat :)))

I am 5'1" and now already 119 lbs, my BMI is in healthy weight range, and overall I feel very good.  I remember when I was 107.5lbs back when I was 17, but I think my body changed so much since then that I will never get to that weight.

I am not sure how old are you, but honestly, I think you shouldn't loose any more weight.  If you are not satisfied with the way your body looks try to WORK OUT.  This will make your body look fit and thinner.  I know working out is hard but you will love the results!
