It has been a long time coming but this morning I hit the 100 pound weight loss mark. It is hard to believe that I have lost that much. I have 7 pounds left to reach my goal of 145. I have read other posts of people lossing 100 pounds and could not wait to get where they were and now here I am.Laughing Happy doesn't even begin to describe it.

I wish you all luck that are on this journey. You can do it!

DOING THE GIANT HAPPY DANCE FOR YOU; ROCK ON, ROCK ON, ROCK ON!!!  Enjoy every tough ounce and pound!!!  YOU DESERVE IT!!!!!!Laughing

Congrats on your AMAZING accomplishment!! You are an inspiration!

Congratulations!  Fantastic achievement!  Enjoy ever second of your "century".  Off to do my "happy" dance for you.......

Congratulations!

thank you all. It is nice to share this with people who understand what I am going through and what I have already gone through.

I am so happy for you!  It's been a long haul, but you did it the right way!  I read from one member who maintained for 2 years!!!  And said it wasn't hard at all!  So the gradual weight loss will hopefully be easy for your you to maintain!

You must look and feel really great!

I need to lose almost the same amount (114 lbs) and am 52 lbs. down - but I can visualize how I'll look at GW and can already imagine how great you feel having gotten almost there!

Any advice on how to motivate yourself over the long term?

gpm55, My motivation comes and goes but the closer I get the more motivation I have. I use to be very bad on weekends were I would be up 3 or 4 pounds by Monday and then have to fight the rest of the week to get that off. I am happy to say that the last 3 weekends I have had no binges at all.

I have also heard that the slower the weight comes off the easier it is to keep it off. I sure hope this is true.

Congrats on your weight loss to date also. You are almost half way there. Keep up the  good work.

Congrats Tammy !!!!!!!

Congrats!  Its so nice to hear about someone reaching their goal!  It makes it easier for me on my journey!  Thanks for the boost this morning as I'm just beginning to my goal of 100+ pounds.

GOOD FOR YOU-----I'M JUST STARTING THAT LONG JOURNEY---MY FIRST GOAL IS TO BE ABLE TO "CROSS MY LEGS LIKE A LADY" AGAIN, THEN I'LL WORK ON WRAPPING THE ANKLES!!!!!  WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR SECRET.

That is so awesome, congratulations!! I was doing so well on this site for the first few weeks and then I slacked off for a while and gained back some of the hard lost pounds. I am now back and motivated and already dropping the unhealthy pounds back off!! Your post gave me a great boost this morning and I am very happy for you for achieving your gooooooal!!! =)

I am so very happy for you. Thank you for sharing your success and motivating others to keep reaching for their goals.

Hip Hip Hooray!

Nice job! That has to be one of the best feelings in the world, to know that you accomplished so much for yourself. Way to go! :]

Way to go! You must look and feel awesome. Congrats for doing it the right way... slow, steady, and healthy! I bet you'll have no problem keeping it off.

Class! Well done...

An excellent example how to lose weight safely... :)

Thank you all. I really hope that I will have no problem keeping it off with how slow it came off. My body should be use to it by now. I will post some pics in a couple days so you all can check them out. I do not have a before pic but I have the pants I wore when I started and you will be able to see the dif.

I was gonna ask for a pic :)

Congtatulations, it's really inspiring to see someone get there! I have that much to lose and more....I will get there eventually, but it's nice to see someone else who has stuck with it and persevered and reached what seems to be the unreachable!

That is AWESOME :D

Wow, congrats~!
Would you care to share how u did it. Did you follow a strict diet? Did u fall off the track?
