i have one and they are worth it!

TY !!!

I have an F11 and I found it on ebay for $100. Whichever you choose I wish you the best.

F11 !

Hi korali *wave*

I just took the plunge myself and bought one of these guys. The F11 is one of the best monitors on the market and well worth the money from what I've read. I was very disappointed in the Reebok heart monitor I bought a few months ago.

Hmmm guess I will have to look into the f11 then =)

I have an F4 and an F6.  I find they are both wonderful and have all the functions that I need for weight loss and exercise in general!

I recently purchased the F6 and LOVE it!

i have & use the f11, LOOOOOOVE it. i can't remember if the f4 has the "goal" programs to set up goals for maintaining, improving, and maximizing fitness, but i use this on a regular basis. the nice thing is, each week that i meet my set goal, a trophy pops up on the hr monitor, which is encouraging for the next week of workouts. the only bummer about the f11 is that the heart rate monitor strap, while coded (good for gym workouts, so i hear) is a bit more bulky and obtrusive than the non-coded straps that come with the f6 (and with the f4, i'd assume).

i've also used the f6, though, and from my experience, any polar hrm you buy is going to be well worth the money.

Bought an F4 off ebay, love it!

Hi: I bought an F6 on ebay for about 55.00 and love it. I don't need, nor know how to use the functions of the higher numbered Polars and this does the job for me. Times my workout, shows me calories burned, heart rate at any given time and in summary it tells me how long I was in the "zone".  I think it actually does much more but I'm not too worried about it.  I bought my hubby an F1, which was all that Walmart had, but all he wanted was something that showed his heart rate, so he's happy with the F1.  I love the HRM because when you are doing things like cutting grass with a push mower, yard work or heavy house cleaning, you can see the calorie burn and heart rate.  It's great for a lot of activities that can't normally be rated for calorie burn.  Go for it!!!

You can get a non coded strap on Polar's website.  I had a basic F1 I got at walmart and a year later got teh F11.  AFter a few years the strap wore out so I just use my strap from the F1 with the F11 and it works great.  I don't think either one is bulky

Hi Korali,

I have the F4 and LOVE it. Laughing   It has REALLY helped me slim down & has kept me on track.  I've had mine for about three weeks.

I really enjoy trying new types of exercises to see what raises my HR, how high/low my HR gets & how many calories each exercise burns.

I paid about $87 w/ tax on a brand new model at Dick's Sporting Goods and it's worth every penny.

If you're serious about your weight loss/slimming down/toning up/maintenaning your weight, I highly suggest getting one. *thumbsup* (and I think that's a great birthday present for yourself Wink)

Good Luck!

wow thanks everyone for the great replys !!

Definitely going to have to get one now !!

Thanks again !!
