Polar Heart Rate Monitor Watch

Quote  |  Reply
Does anyone own one of these watches. I purchased one today because I saw a few girls with one in my spinning class last night and was curious. After researching last night and this morning, I bought one. I can't wait to get it. Does anyone else have any experience with these watches?

Yesyesyes!!  AWESOME gadget -- not spamming here --  it really helped me a lot.  My hubby's is better -- it has a feature that keeps his HR from infecting MY HRM... mine is the old style.  Every time we run together, my monitor adds his HR to mine .. argh!!

But yes, I love my watch .. a lot!  Keeps me in the 'zone'.. haha..

Yes i use one of these, but my husband has a Garmin Forerunner 305 that he uses to train for his triathlons. They have gps so when he is running/cycling swimming he can plot routes, see where to cut corners etc and it has full pc back up too. The heart rate training mechanisms are the best we've seen so i would definitely recommend this as a 'next step'

I got one for Xmas and I love it! The more you use it the more you can figure out how to use it, if that makes sense. The instructions are easy to follow also.
Love mine, too! Easy to use and you become sort of addicted to it! LOL Which model did you buy? I have the F6...
I bought the F11 and I'm driving my boyfriend crazy with it. LOL. I even tried to use it when we were having relations but it kept beeping after 5 minutes I assume because I wasn't in my zone yet so I had to stop it. LOL!! But I love it too already! I cannot wait to use it for spinning. Yes $150 was more than I would want to spend on a watch and more than I ever have but it does so much and I'm satisfied with it already! I would love to see more replies about this subject!

Hey there,

I actually purchase the Polar RS200 about a year ago and I LOVE IT! Mine actually came with the foot pod, so that it can tell me how many miles I've ran as well.  I have used it in the pool while doing water aerobics & swimming!  Its a wonderful tool.  I use it every single time I work out and I love the fact that it keeps track of my workout history's.  I look back once a week and see how I've progressed and get better each time!  Have fun with yours! :)
