The Political Compass - Not a debate thread
This is a cool website. It plots your political compass along economic and social lines. Another poster presented this site a couple months ago. My son just sent it to me and I thought it might be an interesting thread.
I ended up right next to Ghandi and the Dalai Lama. I like my company. Where do you land? What did you think of the site and the way the information is explained?
Edited to add my compass points:
Economic Left/Right: -5.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.00

I ended up with Ghandi, Mandela and the Dalai Lama. I like my company as well.

I believe this makes me.. a Democrat.
almost in the center of the left/ libertarian quadrant.
Economic Left/Right: -4.25
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.46
Whatever that means. Kind of fluffy.
I've done this before, and I couldn't remember the results, so I did it again:

Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.72
On the graph they provide... not too many people in that quadrant. :(
