Alright, it's time for the mother of all fights, the argument to end all argument.

Which is the better pet? Cat? Or Dog?

Dog :)
Cats rule.  Dogs drool.

Dog!

Specifically, Lucy.  :)

Nope, Sorry ;) That's the wrong answer, missy81 ;)

Dogs drool. And most of them are dumber than a box of bricks. ;)

Definitely Cats! :D

ah geez, not this again ;-)

Dogs!  hands down!
lol 'Dumb' dogs are the best!
I have both...can't choose...don't make me choose...I love them both too much.....

Yes!  Cats don't grovel.

No Comprendo.

What's so great about a dog that's so dumb he thinks that anything but going to the V E T is THE GREATEST THING EVER! ;D

DOGS!

murphy's sharp as a tack!

and not all dogs are dumb! i've never heard of a seeing eye CAT!

:)

Wow, we have cats and dogs in our house.... but I must confess that I am a "cat person" who also rescues dogs; I'm not a "dog person."

Dogs are definitely more work and noisier.

Cats are definitely less work and quieter.

Our cats don't bark, but our dogs aren't shredding the furniture.

=^..^= MOLLY

Cats!

I love cuddling kitties :D

Good point, Jules!  Dogs can also predict epileptic seizures and get the owner to a safe location before one begins, as well as detect certain lung cancers!

#10.  NO.  Because they are too smart to get roped into that job.

Dogs have owners.  Cats have staff.
And sniff out skin cancer too, Sparks :)
Dogs!
A Cats' Purr supposedly has health benefits for humans, though. It's calming and can help lower tension and blood pressure.
Depends on the dog and the cat.  I love and adore my cats, Whiskey and Vodka, but I really don't care for Alex's fat ass, Raven.  I used to be a serious dog person and am anxious to get my own little pug puppy, but having Alex's dog around makes me not want dogs ever again.

I guess I'm on the cat side until his animals croak.

Research shows that petting dogs does the same thing.

DO DOGS PURR?!?! I DON'T THINK SO!!! ;p

Thus.. Cats are better ;)
