pooch work out

I just think this is the funniest thing. 

My chihuahua mix "sniffy" likes to lay on my chest when I do crunches.  Sniffy weighs in at 15 lbs.  Perfect for me.

I thought this was cute.  But lately he has also been jumping on my back when I do planks or push ups. 

I think he secretly sees him self as Bob from The Biggest Loser  lol

I am out growing Sniff - but I can not convince my dachshund (22 lbs) to join me.

I wonder if I could get Sniffy to wear a weighted vest?  lol

Ahaha. That's so cute!!! You know, you could place doggy treats on your chest. Not only will this make your dog(s) come, but it will make them fatter so that their weight gradually increases as you get stronger and need more resistance. :) Although it may not be so good for their health, even though it is good for yours....

Trade ya!  my 87lb German Shepherd also tries to do this...loves to lay on my back and sniff my hair as I'm doing planks and bridges (which, obviously, I can't do with him on me!).  He also thinks it's his duty to stand over me while I'm doing my core workout and stare me in the face.  Hard to do crunches when you're giggling.

Cute meima!  Picture him as George Clooney and kiss him on your way up?  LOL

My cat does this as well. Unfortunately, a 9lb cat doesn't really do a whole lot....
