Pop Tarts = Evils...but I still get an A-..really?

Alright, I have never have Pop Tart before in my life and today, I decided to try it before I fly back to my country. I ate 2 pop tarts and it was 400 calories. I already knew it and I tried to tell myself....it's OK....it's not like I have it everyday. From ED recovery, this is a HUGH step for me!!!! I began to be able to eat bagle. I mean...I had ED for like...3 months but that was long enoughh for me. This is my 3rd month of recovery and I eat more and I'm moving toward feeling less guilty. I eat healthy most of the time....as far as a 16 years old girl can be. And I'm uptaking my calories and now it varies from 1300-1600 calories...the best thing is...I gain like 2-3 pounds and I notice that I didn't gain any further than that....but still I know I used to eat like 2000 calories with a lot of walking when I was in Thailand so....I think I'll get better.

My BIG question is that...how bad are those Pop Tarts?? I did NOT addict to it or anything (they didn't impress me). Today...including the Pop Tarts, I still at 1600 calories (I'm 16, 5"1, and 106-108 pounds....excercise-running 3 times a week). This is a silly question but how much 2 Pop Tarts can effect MAINTAINING status??

A couple of pop tarts in the grand scheme of things doesn't affect anything.  If you lived on nothing else it would be a different matter.  There are no bad foods, just bad diets.  If your diet is 80% healthy you can afford to be frivolous with the other 20%.... enjoy it!

Hey, don't feel bad about have a few treats once in a while!  Unless you're eating treats all the time and eating more than 2000 calories  (which it doesn't sound like you are) you will not gain weight. So don't worry about how healthy the poptarts are; we are only human! We all can't eat healthy food 110% of the time, and unhealthy food (in moderation) may actually help your cravings once in a while.

In fact, they actually do have a healthy version of poptarts. They are called Organic Toaster Pastries, and I love 'em! ...Well, you are not a big poptart fan anyways, so nevermind...
