Ok so I was bored and I started to think...I wonder if there's anyone out there like me that loves popcorn so much. I literally eat a 100 cal bag a day everyday. Anyone else love it this much?
I loves popcorn and i could eat it every day like that! Unfortunately, I haven't had any in the house, but I did just get back from the grocery store and picked up the 100 calorie packs. So guess what my snack this evening will be? Hee hee!
Ok yay! makes me feel better. i mean, I'm a total popcorn addict. lol Thanks for the reply. If anyone knows more popcorn recipes let me know. tried it with dried fruit or sprinkled cinnamon and sugar, also tried it with chocolate chips and dry cereal. Any more ideas?
I think popcorn should be it's own food group that we should eat LOTS of every day :)

mmmm - i want some....now....but unfortunately went over my 1300 by 75 -and had a rest day excercise wise...so i'm totally envious of all of you eating popcorn today....
Love the popcorn!!! air popped is the BEST with all the seasonings that they have now its even better,, helps me stay away from all the butter( still need a bit to make the seasoning stick, about 2 tsp, we have also tried spraying olive oil on the popcorn it works too,and its a healthy oil yippy!))Happy Popping![]()
Another popcorn lover here!! I drug out my old airpopper, and found that I can eat even more of that than the microwave type. One thing that puzzles me...If you look at the nutrition facts on a bag of ordinary unpopped popcorn, the calorie count varies according to the brand. For example, Orville R's has 15 calories per cup popped, Jolly Time has 30 calories per cup popped...What's up with that???
If you make popcorn yourself (as in kernels, oil, and a stove), I've heard it's actually quite healthy. Splash a little salt on top (no butter), and you're good to go for a delicious low-cal snack! =) Popcorn=heaven.
I pop mine myself in the microwave - put kernels in a big glass bowl, add a little 1cal olive oil spray, cover with a plate, micro for 10min or so, add a little salt then yum yum yum! LUSH!
i pop mine on th stove with a little Oil, and salt. I DO NOT like the arficially flavoried, BHT ridden stuff they make for the microwave. After I switched to making my own on the stove I will NEVER go back. Stove top stuff is much better. It isn't that hard to make either.
BTW, I eat tons of pop corn. On nights I know I will be making pop corn I leave myself about 200 calories. :)
