popcorn popcorn popcorn!!!
Does anyone else like to eat popcorn for a snack???
I have a couple of favorite ways to make a popcorn snack, but both are not the greatest for me. One is holemade caramel popcorn and the other is popcorn with melted butter and a lil salt.
What are some of your favorite ways to eat popcorn????
Thanks!!
I love popcorn!! I eat it air popped with popcorn seasoning salt, there are a lot of varieties at the store. I have carmel, white cheddar and ranch. I've also heard of a garlic verson. I pop the corn and spray it with butter flavored cooking spray and then sprinkle whichever seasoning I choose on it. Yumm-o! I love that I can have 6 cups for 100 calories, woo!
I eat it every other, if not every day. my friends say I should take up stock in Orville Reddenbocker.
I airpop it and add salt and pepper. Sometimes some cocoa powder if i need it to be chocolatey.
I live by air popped popcorn!
I love snacking on popcorn - I will have it every night! I buy the 100 calorie bags of butter flavor and the kettle corn variety...I put spray butter on it and will sprinkle season salt on top......so delicious!

mmmmm cocoa powder, I never thought of that!!
This may be a dumb question- How do you air pop it? All I have a is one of those popcorn makers that you have to put oil on the bottom.
they have air pop machines at walmart and target:

They are cheap and work very well, i've had mine for almost a year now and it gets a lot of use!
I pop mine in the microwave in a brown paper bag, or home made bag from baking paper, staple it shut and microwave for 5mins :)
Theres not really any need to buy a machine to do it.
Popcorn is my favourite 'junk food' - which is awesome since its not so junky and I don't even mind eating it as just plain air popped!
I also enjoy a little garlic salt once in a while.
But as time goes on I don't really crave the butter and salt at all!
i love the preportioned 100 calorie bags.. you get so much for the calories!
i love kettle corn 98% fat free jolly time with peanut butter (;
or marshmellow and coconut
or just cinnamon and splenda
dipped in chocolate
many more!
i love popcorn (:
Please don't put staples in the microwave! Metal doesn't go in the microwave, that can cause a fire. (In response to stapling the bag shut that you microwave the popcorn in)

It doesnt cause any damage, its safe to put small amounts in such as tin foil (people do that ALL the time when they microwave chicken)
Ive done it hundreds of times and have yet to see a spark :), also if you google popcorn in aper bag you will find lots of results suggesting the same thing.
Popcorn is amazing. My favorite kind is the Pop Secret Homestyle. It's just made with a little salt, I think. But a whole bag only has like ~120 calories. And it fills you up too. You can eat a lot of it, and there's only a little calories. It's the perfect snack. :)
I love popcorn! It's delicious and fillling! Microwave popcorn is great! I have one of the 100 calorie bags almost every day! I admit that I have to add a little salt, but I try to always save 100 calories for my favorite snack at the end of the day.
You guys have given me a lot of ideas! Thanks! Keep 'em coming!![]()

Agreed! I microwave concentrated frozen juice containers all the time (with the top of the can taken off). Never had a problem either.
The microwave at work even came with a metal rack from the manufacturer! You'll be okay as long as its a small amount of metal.
i love popcorn. i love popping a 100 calorie pack and putting it in a bowl mixed with some chex cereal, m&m's, raisings, and nuts, and it makes a delicious snack.
I'm a big fan of the 100 calorie "Smart Pop" popcorn. I have it at least every other day as my after dinner snack.

i saw a mythbusters about putting metal in a microwave, and it got busted (the myth, not the microwave! lol).
and i too pop my corn that way! except i don't use staples... not because of the worry of metal in the microwave, but because it's easier to just fold the top of the bag over about an inch. i'm lazy hehe....
oh, i have a question!
how many kernels does it take to make 3 cups of popcorn?
i was thinking something like 2-3 tbsps...? but i'm not sure.
thanks!
