Is micro wave popcorn a pretty good snack? It seems to be very low in cal and it does fill me up, only problem is I eat the whole bag. But I figure the whole bag is only 100 cal.  What does everyone else snack on at night while watching tv?  Suggestions PLEASE Surprised

Orville Redenbacher has a 100 calorie microwave popcorn out now in regular and kettlecorn. I haven't tried it yet, but it sounds like a good idea.

Good luck

If you get the 100 cal bags, then yes, it's 100 cal.
As long as you're not getting the BIG bags with loads of extra butter or the like, you're good. =3

OH!  Ginamay is right- the kettlecorn is VERY good.
And it makes you feel like you get a huge snack, only for 100 cals =3

I LOVE those 100 cal pop packs of popcorn.  I get pop secret butter.  I think it is a pretty good snack because it fills me up and I just plain love popcorn.  As long as you dont add a ton of salt or butter salt to it (i'm guilty) its pretty good.

watch the sodium levels! Will bloat you up and the next morning on the scale is no fun...

I do air popped popcorn pretty much every night. I'm a big nighttime snacker and plain air popped popcorn is my favorite. You can have like 50 times more because there is no oil or butter or salt involved. I also like to dip it in some no sugar added pudding. It makes it last about an hour. It's my favorite part of the night.

(Not really fifty times more, I exaggerate, but you catch my drift.  :-) )

i think it's great!! jsut make sure you read the serving sizes right! i was eating the whole bag thinking it was 100 cals or so and it was much much more! geez. anyway i got the pop secret 94% fat free bags and they re really 120 or so a bag.  i loooove knowing i can eat the whole bag of something and it's ok :P

I, too, love the mini bags!  Out of curiosity, though, how many cals are there in the big bags?

You know, there's nothing special about pre-packaged microwave popcorn?  It's a lot cheaper and just as easy to make it yourself.  Here's a handy link:

So all you need is some paper bags, and a stapler.  Still not as healthy as air-popped popcorn, but a lot easier to flavor yourself at home for more fun choices :)
