Trying to lose about 10-15 pounds of post-pregnancy weight. Am now 137 and trying to get down to about 120-125...Third child is now 7 months old...I seem to be stuck! I need to get motivated to eat healthy (although I don't eat so bad now) and excercise more. I just get so discouraged when I look at myself or the scale...

i don't have a new born but i know how having a child redirects your focus so you seem not to do what you know you should..just get out there and take the baby for a stroll and if the weather isn't fitiing..get on the treadmill..put them in the rocker and walkaway..you have three??why don't you all work out to a fitness dvd together--it's not that you get it right..it's that you move!

I'm with ya :) I have a 6 mo old and need to lose 30 pounds UHHH. They're stuck in all the wrong places. I've kinda started exercising but my schedule with the kids is not kind. Don't give up.

my daughter is now 13 months. i gained about 35 pounds during pregnancy, lost about 20 directly after i had her then gained all of it back. some how i lost 10 pounds in the past few months but i still want to lose about 30 pounds. i especially want to lose it before we decide to have another one because i am afraid that it will be even harder to lose after that. so i am trying to watch what i eat and hopefully it will work. since i have started dieting again i have lost only 2 pounds. where as my husband lost 6 pounds already :( so yes, i can feel you. it's difficult especially when it comes so easy to others but i think this time i will be determined enough to get it done. hopefully having some support can help you with this challenge

I have a 13 month old and a soon to be 3 year old. The weight was no problem with a little work with the first but the second baby was difficult, I had to have an emergency section that left me with an up and down incision line rather than the cute low horizontal cut. I used that to hold me back from getting into a routine of exercise early on. Now I am trying to make up for it. I am about 20 lbs from where I want to be. I just started up my Slim in 6, alot of gals joined me! if you have it -get going if not I am here for the support of whatever you do and to encourage the calorie count. I never counted before and now I am at day 5 and 3 lbs lighter and a heck of alot happier with my progress.
I am glad to find others that understand me...thanks...and i will try to help anyone else who needs it stay motivated.
Does anyone know exactly how long it takes to see any results once you start counting calories?? Is it supposed to me a pound per week?

Im also trying to shed some weight after my last 2 kids. I think we all have an advantage over other people, because we are all really busy looking after our kids, i know my 3 boys keep me really busy! up by 7am and go, go, go till 11 or 12 at night...not to mention all my house work and stuff....we'll peel it off no problem!
