Since we have so many recent YCC posts asking for buddies with similar stats, I thought I would make a master post for you all to use, if you want to.

If you are looking for a buddy, post your stats here. If you find someone, you can PM them, post to their journal, or you guys can create your own group and make a new thread just for your group. Whatever works best!

Just please remember to keep it healthy! Weight loss or weight gain, please keep it healthy and in compliance with the posting guidelines.

I'm an eater. I love food. I have an oral fixation, so I sometimes think I eat just for the texture and sounds in my mouth, as they keep me happy.

I will be the first to admit that I need to be more active, I need to have more ambition. Hating yourself and the way you look and not doing anything about it obviously does nothing to help you, body or mind.

I need a buddy. I can't do this alone.

Im Alexa, 16 years old, 5'4, 140 lbs.

I am pretty into track and field, and would really like to get leaner for the spring season.My goal is 15-20 pounds/fit into size 4, but i know muscle weighs more than fat so its not so much the weight as the size. Looking for a buddy who is also trying to lose weight, shares similar goals, and is also involved in sports/interested in exercising.

I have a large athletic frame (that make sense?) and I know 210 would be a good weight for me. Im trying to eat more (Only eating <1300 calories/day atm). I Jog daily and am just hoping to get into shape :)

Hi, I'm Stephanie and I'm really looking for someone that has similar goals to me! It's hard to find! I'm 19 I'm about 195 lbs and 5'7" I'm looking to lose 50 pounds and be 145 lbs sometime in Sept-Oct. It's a very long term goal.

I'm 17, 5'5'', 139 pounds.
I want to get down to 130 by April and to 120 by June.

My first short term goal is just to break 130.  I'm just looking for someone who has similar goals and can really keep me motivated (especially with the whole exercise/fitness schedule), but at the same time, I would love to be of help to anyone =).  Send me a message if your interested!

I just joined Calorie Counter yesterday, and found this little blurb today.  I'm 24, 5'7, 160 pounds.  I'm trying to get to 140ish by summertime (June?).  I'm also a uni student (polisci, last semester), so if you have any Q's about that, feel free to jet them over my way.  I'm trying to cut out sweets (so hard!), eat around 1500 calories per day, and workout three times a week.  I'm a pretty active gal, I just need to rev up the intensity.  I recently started doing Cardio Kickboxing at Fitness World, which is amazing (highly recommended if you have that in your area).  It seems as though I've dallied with exercise and eating right in the past, but this time I want it to stick....which is why the buddy system sounds so perfect.  Msg. me if my goals seem to be in synch with yours.

Ive been a member here for awhile, but its time for me to SERIOUSLY get my butt in gear. Summer is around the corner, and Im going to Hawaii!
Im 18/f/125-130lbs. I am 5'3. So, even a 2lbs gain looks like ten on me because im so short!
I am to be about 110-115 by May hopefully, but Im about to go into surgery this month, and that means NO exercise for 6-8 weeks. I just need a buddy to help me stay on track, and visa versa. Im one of those all-in-or-all-out eaters. I eat really really good, then I eat really REALLY bad.

I need to stay on track and finally lose the extra poundage!

Well I'm 23 (about to be 24). I'm 5ft 4in. I was 165-170lbs for a while, and slowly I got down to 145 with dieting. I got down to 135 (practically starving but I got there), and now since I starting eating right and working out I am back up to 143 (slowly gained weight over the last 3 months or so).

Here's my workout routine (and I totally stick to it) since November 30th, 2007:

Monday -  150 crunches, 45 minutes leg weight lifting, 30 mins cardio

Tuesday - 150 crunches, 1 hour on the elliptical, 30 mins walking or stairmaster, and 20 mins in the sauna

Wednesday - 150 crunches, 45 minutes chest & triceps weight lifting, 30 mins cardio

Thursday - 150 crunches, 1 hour on the elliptical, 30 mins walking or stairmaster, and 20 mins in the sauna

Friday - 150 crunches, 45 minutes lback & biceps weight lifting, 30 mins cardio

Here's the prob: while I eat relatively healthy (in fact much cleaner than most I know) I still have a swollen gut... I seriously look preggers but I'm not. I don't sleep enough and I know that but there is no way to change it (I work 10 hours a day and I go to school part-time too). So I sleep about 5-6 hours a night (weeknights) and weekends I sleep about 8 hours a night.

Advice???? Please I am totally open to ideas. Also if anyone would like, I'd love to have a workout partner... I live in Burlingame, California and I work out at Gold's Gym in San Mateo (sometimes Redwood City too).

I'm 19 , 5 feet even, and weigh 115. My weight now is considered normal, but since being in college I've gained 8 pounds (i use to be 107, and was for several years). I mainly want to make sure I don't gain any more weight, and if that extra eight comes off thats great too!

Hi,  I'm 23, 5'6" and currently weight 147. My goal is to get down to 135, by summer!?!? I've been dieting for nearly two weeks and have had plenty of close calls with the Vending machine -o- garbage. I don't have much support from my significant other because he doesn't see anything wrong with the way I am now, which is good and bad...

would love to have a "diet buddy" (for the lack of a better term).

hi. i am 16, i'm 5'4, i dont really weigh myself that often, but last time i checked i was about 195 i do have a large frame, my short term goal is about 160-165, with a long term of about 140-ish. i would love to be able to look good in a swimsuit this year, even if its a one piece.

i'm 17 5'4 and 124 lbs. i want to get down to 110lbs.

i need a buddy who wants to get down to the same weight as i do.

last summer i worked out every single day for at least 2 hours and then once volleyball started, i used that as my only workout as well as club volleyball. i want to get back in my "nazi workout mode"
