Post here with how today was better than yesterday
Yesterday I let stress get the better of me and had an unhealthy binge: cookies and mountain dew. The binge was around 11 am and it filled me up so I ended up not having lunch. I had a great dinner but then had orange soda and cheez-its (out of the box, not taking portion size into account) in the evening. UGH. I'm determined to shed that and make sure today is better.
It's 11:30 am and I've consumed 560 very healthy calories- whole wheat bagel, an apple, and laughing cow cheese to name a few things. Hoping to go for a walk with the dog this evening but that's up in the air due to an inner infection making me rather dizzy today. I will do this if/when I feel up to it but a walk won't be beneficial if I topple over 1/2 way through! ![]()
So, I'm not letting a bad day yesterday get to me or ruin my healthy plans. How did you let go of yesterday's mistakes to make today better?
Hmm. Well yesterday I awoke to a bunch of water weight that I wasn't very happy about, had some stressful times myself and ended up with my face in some pie. Today, thankfully!, the water weight is gone and I'm just generally feeling pretty darn good. (Independant of the water weight issue)
Yesterday I was doing pretty good but I got so hungry I had a big chocolate chip cookie and a pumpkin spice latte (small, nonfat, no whip, but still!) from Barnes & Noble.. Not even that good, made me feel a bit sick afterwards. (I usually feel sick when I eat too much sweets).
Today has started off better, I just got up so I had a banana for breakfast. But I bought lots of very healthy foods today so I can eat better!
Yesterday, I wasn't doing CC.
Today, I am back on after not counting calories or doing pretty much anything for a few months. I've done my workout for the day, and I feel great!
Now I just have to focus on eating healthy things in my fridge after Lab today. Oh, and I budgeted some alcohol into my caloric intake today. I'm a college student; it's Friday. C'mon. ![]()
