I am just soo happy! I live in Charleston, sc and today was our annual cooper river bridge run (10K). This was my first year doing it and i finished in 50:08 min. I won a mug for being the 13th finisher in my age group! (fem- 10-14. there were 419 girls in my division).

If anyone else has finished a race, marathon, or done any other awesome physical acheivments please post them here!!!!

thats awesome - i've only gotton a medal for races in which everyone gets them.  the bigger 5 mile races, half marathons, and one 5k, my last one actually gave them out.  i would have felt a lot better if i got one or a (mug) for being a top finisher but i wasn't ever, my pace is from 8 - 9 minute / miles for the races.

my favorite are the half marathon medals though - not all halfs have given them out though.

congarts on your race, glad it was a good one!

thats awesome! im a running too, ive managed to get a plaque before haha which is pretty cool. my most recent achievement is kind of lame but im still proud of it! lately ive been playing soccer again so i wanted to make sure i could still sprint! haha. anyway, ive incorporated sprints into my runs, and the soccer season is over but i love it so much that im still at it, i only add the sprints in 2/3 days a weak b/c its hard on my knees. anyway i think it really speeds up my metabolism, and my runs have gotten overall faster too. i feel really fit and like im getting more toned. such a good feeling. i recommend this to anyone who feels like they are in an exercising rut!

I'm new to running and yesterday I just finished running 3.5 miles straight - I never thought I was capable of it but I just kept going and going (I've been gradually working up to it too over the last few weeks.)  I'm pretty proud just to have done that - even if it did take me 45 minutes.  I plan to run more, and get faster, but I'm so excited by what I've done so far!!!

been working out and training hard for a couple months....and I've gained an enormous amount of punching power.  I'm able to finish off opponents with very few punches to the ribs (like 10-15 punches).  most fights don't go past the first round now....and I owe it all to training my core, and also my parachute workouts....couldn't be happier.

I did 220 crunches!!

I also have burned over 700 calories so far without trying today.

I deadlifted 155 pounds the other day for the first time.

Hey I just ran a marathon in a 8.10 minute mile average....and I'm qualified for boston! just over 3 and a half hours!

2 years ago I couldn't run at a 10 minute mile for more than 5 minutes! I started pushing myself harder and harder everyday...and now I'm in the best shape of my life!

btw congrats on the win!
