I figured we would start a new thread for weigh ins because the other one is focused on signing up for it. (Hope potteryhoney doesn't mind lol)

and the rules are:

  1. Males and females are both allowed in this competition.
  2. I think that it's fair that no one that wants to loose over 50 pounds should be in this contest, since it is unfair to the people that want to loose less weight (10 pounds comes off of someone who wants to loose 100 pounds much easier than someone who only wants to loose 20).
  3. we can keep this contest on going too, so that when you get into the 50 weight range, you can join the contest.
  4. You must stay in a healthy range of calories for your height/weight/sex. (Generally being no less than 1200 for women and 1500 for men, however if you're taller or have a lot of weight to lose, that still may be too little... so no less that 1200 for women/1500 for men and/or no greater than a 1000 calorie deficient- unless under doctors advisement)  
  5. Vitamins are allowed, but no living off of diet pills (you want to keep it off right?)
  6. Even though this is a contest, keep in mind that we are here to SUPPORT each other, and maybe even have a little fun.
  7. Weigh-ins are once a week. (on Mondays)

And to think I was at 154 just two days ago :(

I was at 144.2 yesterday!... and I should have gone down! *throws temper tantrum* haha

Net Loss: 1.5 lb!! w00t.

alwayzfreetobeme, can I suggest something?  Could you maybe list our weights and net loss in the original post?  You've got that awesome list of the people in the contest.  If you go through the thread and get people's weigh-ins, you could edit your original post and list them beside our names, ie

  1. person1: 150, 149; 1
  2. someusername: 150, n/a; 0
  3. weightlossbunny: 150, 148; 2
  4. anotherperson: 150, 151; -1
etc.  So the first weight listed would be the starting weight, the next one would be today's, and so on through the weeks, and the number after the semicolon is the net loss (net loss, so when they have a net gain it's a negative net loss...hence the -1 from 150 to 151).  an n/a could be used for when someone misses their weigh-in for that week.

I know this is extra work for you, but it would be awesome if you're up for it!! This way we'd all have our results tabulated neatly at the top of the thread.  Whaddaya say?
tinamkz- oh my gosh! I can't believe you would suggest all of that work for me to do! What do you think I am?! hahaha no I'm really jk! lol That is a great idea, and will work on it right now lol. :)

Today's Weight:  168 (YAY!!!! three pounds)

tinamkz- lol no it's really okay, I actually enjoy doing things like that, so I really don't know why I didn't think of it first lol! and thanks :)

I can't belive I have to be the first/only GAIN! As if I didn't feel bad enough when I saw the scale...  anyway, I'm now at 196.2, up 2.8 lbs since last Monday. I feel so ashamed...    but good job to everyone so far for losing :)
man, draco, I totally vote for kicking you out. =)  you and your guy-ness is throwing off all of our slower girly weight loss. =)
awe it's okay asiabear- if it makes you feel any better I've gained from yesterday... but in any case, it's only week one, so you can definately turn things around if you want :)
