ppl from the uk...calories in marks n spencers cookies?
hi, so anyone in the uk who shops in marks an spencers....do u know those huge cookies baked from their bakery section fresh everyday...well does anyone know how many cals are in them? i cant find any nutritional info on the m an s website and cause theyre from the bakery theres no packet nutritional info....anyone any ideas?? im tlaking about the huge cookies that come in white choc chip or milk choc chip
Not in the UK and don't shop at Marks & Spencers, but most cookies average between 450 and 800 calories per 100 grams. So if you have a HUGE cookie with chocolate in it, you would likely be safe at estimating 500 calories a cookie.
There's no way to tell with fresh baked foods, really. I'd go for the 500 estimate. But you're gaining, hun - just enjoy your cookie!
I know the Tesco Finest ones are about 350 and M&S are roughly the same size. However, I don't really trust that so I always log 500.
k thanks for the replys :) i weighed the cookie an it was about 50 grams...its like the size of my hand with my fingers spead out ( i dont have very big hands tho) but its very thin an chewy...im so baffled but oh well....there too yummy to not eat jus cause i dont know the cal count :)
Mmmmm... I know the ones you mean. M&S white chocolate cookies are THE BEST. Given that Millies cookies are 200 I always guessed them to be about 350, just to be on the safe side. Y-u-m.
i work in starbucks and we have similar ones, and although they vary in size and shape and are never ientical, the nutrition sheet we have says around 450. So although it isn't exactly what you asked for, I would guess it's fairly similar. I have an M&S opposite and know the ones you mean.
HTH.
