I'm a new to this website. here is my BIO: my faith is Pentacostal, the Bible is my instruction manual. I beleive that as a Christian we must live the life we talk about.  I'm married to Christ first, I'm married to my wife, and two wonderful teenagers and a dog that needs payer (lol). i was brought up on classical french cooking. That means all the butter, all the heavy cream, sauteed in butter lifestyle.  I also belive that God has a great sense of humor because he created me. My plan is to shed a few pounds and I need some help!

Hi Nick, from one newbie to another, welcome!
I say
that God doth hath a sense of humor, He created my husband...*wink* Thank goodness you have God on your side. You're going to need Him to change your ways of cooking, but no sweat, for "With God all things are possible!"
Good luck on your journey!

Welcome Nick

I am so glad that you have found us.  French cuisine can be just as dangerous as country fixin's [hehe]

I had strong tastes and cravings for double breaded everything smothered with white gravy.  Counrty Fried Steak and Eggs w/ white gravy, Hash Browns (extra crispy) and biscuits or toast.  I haven't overcome the tastes and cravings.  I still get them.  I just learned to control the portions.  I also learned how to control the frequency of said delights.

Have a blessed time with us.  If you have questions or need anything, just ask.  Or you can click on the picture for one of the moderators and send us a Private Message (PM).
